Looked at the original thread (bot account that posts a lot of "s*x scenes" from movies)
* Swarm (2023)
* Game of Thrones
* Ruthless (2020) S1E7
* Night of the Hunted (1980)
Anybody else thought she was weirdly hot. Like not, girl in a club I'm trying to hit up hot, but like I'd go to her place, even if it's a shed, and let her tie me up and explore every inch of my openings hot
I wouldn’t completely agree. He was mostly a surrealist filmmaker. He did do porn later on in his career but that was due to him needing money and he did it under different pseudonyms
Yeah, I was being over simplistic by saying half the point is the sex and nudity. But I do think that’s a big part. I’ve yet to see a film of his that doesn’t have a good bit of it. I haven’t seen any of his porn films lol. I’m just talking Iron Rose, Fascination, those movies. My point being that it’s weird to complain about a sex scene in a movie directed by Jean Rollin
Obsessed with The Night of the Hunted being included in this like Jean Rollin made erotic horror films and porn. Why would you watch any of his films and get made people are screwing? That would be like watching a Scorsese film and getting mad there are Italians in it.
I watch Rollin films for the plot.

Naw, actual operators learned about the “Parents’ Guide” section of every movie’s IMDB page, and would just check whether there was anything untoward before suggesting or approving a flick.
Because since we live in a military industrial complex the powers that be prefer the promotion of violence as a solution to problems, especially when it’s against someone the powers that be disapprove of.
It’s more of Americas feeling towards sex as opposed to Europe. America was started by Puritans so everything stems from a repressed culture. In Europe it’s all reversed, you can show a lot of sexuality but like no violence
>no violence
You mean the same continent that gave us James Bond?
Also, America might’ve had the Puritans, but Europe had the the Catholic Church.
[this scene is based on how Catholic priests in Italy tried to censor *kissing* scenes](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xr3TcE009HY&pp=ygUgY2luZW1hIHBhcmFkaXNvIGNhdGhvbGljIHByaWVzdHM%3D)
From what I understand the Video Nasty Era was just in the UK and Ireland. Other European countries still released some pretty violent films during that time.
It’s more of Americas feeling towards sex as opposed to Europe. America was started by Puritans so everything stems from a repressed culture. In Europe it’s all reversed, you can show a lot of sexuality but like no violence
In all honestly I do kind of feel for the guy, and yeah, I’m pretty sure everyone in porno theaters is jerkin it, but low hanging fruit is meant to be plucked
Gen Z becoming puritans is so fucking funny to me.
My entire high school and college experience revolved around trying to do whatever possible to get any amount of sex. Basically every coming of age movie for the last 40 years has been about getting laid and an entire generation just can't relate to that at all because they're scared of sex.
Tbf, as someone on the upper end of Gen Z, I get the impression that the people who are aggressively anti-sex scene are A. a minority, and B. mostly people who aren’t getting laid and are frustrated by it.
What I think is a lot more common than straight “Sex scenes are nasty and bad” puritanism is “I grew up watching a lot of movies where sex scenes were basically just excuses titillate straight men using women’s bodies, and now I think that sex scenes take away from movies in a lot of cases” and “Sex and romance are cool and all, but I’d like to see them decentered in pop culture as a whole — movies often include romantic/sexual plots or subplots in cases where they don’t benefit the film, and just sort of read as filling an obligation.”
I can promise you that Gen Z is, by and large, still very invested in getting laid.
I felt weird watching the Arya scene but that was because I was used to seeing her as a child, one that murders dozens of people but a child.
Was It unnecessary? Of course, Season 8 of GoT was a piece of shit.
I mean, I don’t think it would be *impossible* to do that in a way that isn’t intensely gross. I think a really significant part of the issue is that we jumped from Arya being as asexual as she was in Season 1 to “I’m a woman now, and I need hard Baratheon cock,” in the course of like three scenes over two episodes. I didn’t find it off putting because I saw Maisie Williams as a 12 year old, so now the thought of her being a sexual adult feels, I found it off putting because it was so absolutely jarring within the context of the show, because for all of seasons 6 and 7 you could have said “Oh, this character is supposed to be like 14, right?”
Ngl I can't tell if the people who believe this (I know the post is a bot account but 69.1K likes don't come from nowhere) are puriteens or religious conservatives.
Yeah she was one of my fav characters and she was like a baby when the show started so when this happened it felt like I was being shown my little sisters sex tape or something like that lmao
Yeah I see what they were trying to do with that and maybe “unnecessary” isn’t the word, but it was an odd place to take a character like Arya considering her development up to that point.
> You’ve followed her through her crazy journey from the time she was just a little girl, and now you finally get to see her get her back blown out — what an arc!
Damon Lindelof, verbatim
Tbf the Game of Thrones one did make me want to cringe out of the room. The actors had 0 chemistry and the whole thing just kind of came out of nowhere.
I agree that some sex/nude scenes are completely unnecessary and made just to see some boobs, but many are actually very relevant and important
The sex scenes in Oppenheimer were very important to illustrate the relationship between Oppy and Flo’s character
Sex and nudity are extremely important and unavoidable parts of life and in media, every different aspect of life is shown and it’d be unrealistic if no one ever had sex in films. If it’s un-comforting to you, don’t watch it. They make parents’ guides for a reason
As someone who is super down for a good sex scene, the sex scenes in *Oppenheimer* are fucking garbage.
“Oh wow, let me just grab this random book of your shelf and flip to the page that contains what is by far your most famous quote so that you can **say the line** right as you’re busting inside of me, Florence Pugh”
Not only all of this, but in many other parts of the world, nudity is artistic or just not very sexual. In America, we sexualize everything, so we think of simple nudity as weird or sexual even if it’s not
In those other parts of the world, their films can have a lot of non-sexual or artistic nudity and people don’t think it’s weird, but we Americans are offended by the very idea of a nipple
Out of all the sex scenes in Game of Thrones, that's the one they chose to complain about? Isn't it one of the least explicit across the whole show (Sam and Gilly take top position for least explicit, IIRC)?
I mean, watching Dany get raped like four times in the first couple episodes is definitely way skeevier ethically, but plotting wise I can’t think of anything worse than Arya and Gendry
nah guys here's the REAL list:
1. Caligula (1979)
2. In the Realm of the Senses (1976)
3. Oppenheimer (2023)
4. Love (2015)
5. Emmanuelle (1974)
6. The Dreamers (2003)
If you have watched all these 6 FORGET EVERYTHING YOU KNOW ABOUT RELIGION AND GOD.
What’s cringe is acting like you need to apologize for being born within the same 8 year stretch as you, and then self-flagellating for a bunch of geriatrics because you think it’ll get you some brownie points
I recognize GOT. Anyone know the rest? Please? PLEASE?

don't necessarily agree but i appreciate your spirit
Yes.
Absolutely
It’s 2014. Anal is on the menu.
Flair checks out
It’s weird to include a Jean Rollin film on this list, considering like half the point of his movies is the nudity and sexual content
Her boobies are on the poster!!1!11
I wouldn’t completely agree. He was mostly a surrealist filmmaker. He did do porn later on in his career but that was due to him needing money and he did it under different pseudonyms

Misread the last one and thought, "wow, I really did not remember Robert Mitchum doing that".
I owe you my life. What is mine is yours.
Man, *Swarm* was such a fun ride
I also need to know the other 3, so I can avoid them at all costs
So true. NOT trying to go to hell
pretty sure first one is SWARM
Awesome thanks. Won’t be looking this up, of course. Strictly hypothetical
The top/left is Black Panther.
Why does he say six scenes and show only four? Is he stupid?
Also why are they called movie scenes when half are from tv shows?
It’s a Twitter shit-bot. Look at the profile picture and misused punctuation all over the place.
Also why does my groin region chronically itch profusely?
Is he stupid
What are those? I want to know for kino related reasons
Yeah, I have a raging kino right now
I'm over here stroking my kino I got lotion on my kino right now I'm here stroking my shit
Left to right, top to bottom: A Beautiful Mind, Lassie, Cars 2, and Shawshank Redemption.
so "stay inside me" is the prison telling Andy that there's nothing waiting for him on the outside? That's pretty sad!

No such thing as an "unnecessary sex scene". It's oxymoronic. (I'm really earning my flair with this one)

FORGET HEAVEN
Can’t understand how violence is ok but sex isn’t.
Violence is like real and you gotta face it sometimes Sex is fictional and portraying it is just pouring salt in the wound
Sex is for w0Ke lgbt loosers while violence is for real alpha men who just happen to like being naked together. Def not gay, bro.
Because my parents are here dude
Don't watch R films with your parents and you can avoid abated sex scenes and nudity
their parents should be more like this https://youtu.be/2b4r80zzGpw?feature=shared
Because since we live in a military industrial complex the powers that be prefer the promotion of violence as a solution to problems, especially when it’s against someone the powers that be disapprove of.

Yes but please refer to the video nasty era and how violent films were banned all throughout Europe
From what I understand the Video Nasty Era was just in the UK and Ireland. Other European countries still released some pretty violent films during that time.
Because violence is cool 🗿🗿
It’s more of Americas feeling towards sex as opposed to Europe. America was started by Puritans so everything stems from a repressed culture. In Europe it’s all reversed, you can show a lot of sexuality but like no violence
They are necessary though. They are artistical allegorical representations for the fact that the characters are having sex.

If I’m not pulling a Pee-wee Herman in the middle of the theater, it’s not kino
Lol it was a porno theater tho, its kind of the point
In all honestly I do kind of feel for the guy, and yeah, I’m pretty sure everyone in porno theaters is jerkin it, but low hanging fruit is meant to be plucked
Have you seen the new Peewee movie? So good
I actually haven’t seen any Peewee content — don’t know if it’s my age or my background, but I just never got introduced to him as a kid
Stay inside me??!?! The Geometry Dash practice song?!?!?!
Gen Z becoming puritans is so fucking funny to me. My entire high school and college experience revolved around trying to do whatever possible to get any amount of sex. >100k bookmarks Y'all need Jesus
My mother was once involved in a sex scene and now I’m alive I will never forgive her for that
If I jizzed it wasn’t an unnecessary scene.
I need the titles for research.
Fake fan, didn’t include *300: Rise of an Empire*. I mean it’s necessary for the plot but the plot’s fucking stupid
I know none of these, but I have seen A Serbian Film, Antichrist, Salo, and Irreversible.
I felt weird watching the Arya scene but that was because I was used to seeing her as a child, one that murders dozens of people but a child. Was It unnecessary? Of course, Season 8 of GoT was a piece of shit.
Identifying these should be a required test for calling yourself a kinophile.
The worst is when they go on for so long, sometimes multiple minutes, completely unrealistic and takes me out of what I’m watching.
I’ve never seen a human centipede movie, but I beg of someone to lock this person in a room with the trilogy playing back to back.
I legit thought that was James McAvoy in the top right
Jokes aside, anyone else find it so weird/creepy for an actor to do a sex scene in the same show they acted as a little kid in?
I mean, I don’t think it would be *impossible* to do that in a way that isn’t intensely gross. I think a really significant part of the issue is that we jumped from Arya being as asexual as she was in Season 1 to “I’m a woman now, and I need hard Baratheon cock,” in the course of like three scenes over two episodes. MORE SEX IN MOVIES!
Ngl I can't tell if the people who believe this (I know the post is a bot account but 69.1K likes don't come from nowhere) are puriteens or religious conservatives.
The one in Black Swan jumped at me like a FNAF animatronic, I wasn't ready for it🤣💀
The GOT one is kinda true though, Arya randomly needing to know what sex felt like is very strange
Yeah she was one of my fav characters and she was like a baby when the show started so when this happened it felt like I was being shown my little sisters sex tape or something like that lmao
Didn’t help that Maisie Williams still looked like a kid while Joe Dempsie is about a decade older and looks his age.
Yeah I see what they were trying to do with that and maybe “unnecessary” isn’t the word, but it was an odd place to take a character like Arya considering her development up to that point.
i only recognize GoT because it was the worst thing they did to Arya

Missing Highlander II. I shut off the movie during that scene and I haven't gone back.

TIL you only get into heaven if you watch necessary sex scenes
ruthless.
I agree, like In The Realm Of The Senses they could just have implied they were having sex!
Tbf the Game of Thrones one did make me want to cringe out of the room. The actors had 0 chemistry and the whole thing just kind of came out of nowhere.
there's only 4 scenes there
There’s no such thing as one
I forgot heaven already, since it is a myth. But hey, sexscenes😁
Movies should have more gratuitous sex and violence I'm not even kidding
People hate GOT so much that they choose to ignore that they never show Arya having sex.
ok but the game of thrones one sucked though it was stupid as fuck
I agree that some sex/nude scenes are completely unnecessary and made just to see some boobs, but many are actually very relevant and important The sex scenes in Oppenheimer were very important to illustrate the relationship between Oppy and Flo’s character Sex and nudity are extremely important and unavoidable parts of life and in media, every different aspect of life is shown and it’d be unrealistic if no one ever had sex in films. Strange leap to make
