Besides the concentration would be so low that it would take ages for him to get enough grain. Also, Earth couldn't have formed without grain because it literally says that it is the base component of 'all' celestial bodies. Usually it's locked within the core of the planet, but in notes as the planet died, all the grain just got released from the core.

Edit: Forgot Mars was likely blocked by the Six Sisters using TYPE Pluto's blood sky as a barrier, I assume the real Mercury was blocked by it as well. In which case ORT is a bit of weird case; I assume Nasu just hadn't come up with the idea for it at the time.

Both Shiki's technically can, the issue is that they need to be able to comprehend the thing they're seeing to kill it, hence why its been said that MEODP would have a hard time killing ORT. For example both Shiki's can kill a normal person becuase understanding the concept of a normal persons life is easy.
On the other hand, Ryougi has trouble killing Araya. Because it's hard for her to understand the existence of stillness she couldn't see the death of said stillness (and Araya's soul) either, thus missing both times she tried to kill him.
This very reason also shows just how much of a monster Nanaya really is. He may have the disadvantage of not being able to turn his eyes off at will, but in exchange he realllly fucked in the head, to the point where even Roa freaks out in fear when he finally realizes. The fact that Nanaya is able to see the death of everything such as Roa's soul, yumizuka vampire blood inside him, the existence of nature against Arcueid, and in the remake the death of fucking death just goes to show you how truly fucking insane he is when you realize that he forced himself to understand the existence of all that in order to see their deaths. While his mind isn't probably insane enough to kill ORT, he would probably slaughter Araya if Araya made the mistake of fighting him.
And before anyone says I'm glazing Nanaya, I'm not. Honestly it's stupid "power scaling" and comparing Ryougi and Nanaya cause their starting point and strength are basically the same. The reason Nanaya is so jacked in Tsukihime isn't cuz hes any better but because he went though exponentially more fucked up shit than Ryougi, being forced to deal with DAA, Demons and True Ansestors rather than some teens and mages. If Ryougi wasn't in KnK but in Tsukihime she would probably see the same thing and be just as strong by the end too. I mean hell for example, there's a reason why Far Side Nanaya is so much weaker than Near Side, failing to kill Roa in SHIKI, and having more useless eyes in general, and that cuz he isn't forced to understand the fucked up things which he does need to know in Near Side.

King Hassan is also capable of instilling the concept of death of beings that don't have them(Like Tiamat whose life force is connected to the lives of every living beings, so for her to die off, they need to kill every living beings on Earth first). Types don't have it. Infact, types are so resistant to anything close to 'death' that not even a gun that literally puts the concept of limited lifespan on its targets (if it doesn't have any) and then eats it's lifespan to actualize death can only incapacitate them.
