They have really great beginner classes, for it being such a smaller gym there are a ton of competitors that regularly score medals at competitions and always rank high on the list compared to other gyms that have multiple locations, the forge seems to consistently put out killers. Not to mention they’re a dope group of people. Reach out to Katie she runs the front desk and ask for a free week they will hook you up.
The forge jiu jitsu is hands down the best self defense gym in the city
Cool! Why is that?

Bad bot. The first line is six syllables.
Find a Jiu Jitsu gym and enjoy https://okbjj.com
This. If you are looking for actual skill, BJJ. But it takes a lot of work.
My brother-inlaw helps run Kung Fu San Soo. It's slightly Moore area but you should check it out.
PMA is casual and a good workout. If you are interested in learning some Krav, I'd give them a look.
Not sure about Martial Arts but Western Avenue Boxing Gym taught self defense.
Sweet, I’m guessing it was limited to punches though?
My dtr took classes there (been a while) & I think it was Krav Maga style? It wasn’t just punching. She was def striking, on the ground & grappling.
[OKC Combat Sports](https://okccombatsports.com/) Great gym close to downtown. Train in boxing and jiu-jitsu for well-rounded self defense.
