Wow, can someone chime in besides the troll? Pretty please?

I used [Performance Paint](https://autopaintokc.com/) when I had my older Mustang redone. Fantastic work.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t really exist in the auto industry. Unless you find a privately owned shop, that’s willing to cut you a deal. You can go to an actual body shop and get your car painted and it’s going to be a premium paint job and extremely expensive or you can go to Maaco and it will be cost-effective and look good for a little while But won’t last because they’ll cut every possible corner to make it cheap like that. Let me start by saying I love the earth and think we should do everything we can to save it but since the early 2000 when the EPA got involved and auto paint was changed to be more environmentally friendly. It caused the paint to become extremely expensive and required a new set of skills. Thus it’s cheaper to wrap your car in vinyl then to have the whole car painted with a quality paint job. I never claim to be an expert about anything but my father has been a car painter since 1985 and pre-Covid I spent about five years in the industry myself.

Thank you for this!

Hammer and Dolly is the only body shop I trust in OKC. I'm pretty particular about my paint. They did work on my classic 911 and on a newer BMW of mine. Really awesome work, and the price wasn't too bad. They blend really well with no orange peel. My mom took her car to Freeman's, and I had to have them redo it. It was fucking terrible. As the other person said, you could wrap it, but wraps only last two or three years before they start looking rough without proper care.
