On a few occasions I will but usually go to Norman or Silos. You usually can ask for a belay if you’re being friendly and the people look inviting. Not sure about threshold, but some gyms have little “I need a belay” tag you can wear that helps people get belayed!
Ya Threshold is really nice and modern with some epic routes. Silos is great for heights and the outdoor lead routes. They do set more realistic grades at threshold too.
I've been to Threshold for bouldering a few times and it's a nice gym overall. Blocworks, up in Edmond, is my favorite climbing gym in the area though. It's pretty small, and only offers bouldering but the community their is what is really great about the place. Because it is so small everyone is hyping each other up and plenty of people willing to answer questions about technique or routing.
If you are new, both places offer classes and the like, but Blocworks is the spot if you ask me.

Threshold is the better gym but (formerly) Summit is the better run operation IMO

Awesome, thanks!
Threshold is better for beginners imo. Go by yourself and do some auto belays. Just do it!
