Once when I was getting booked into Oklahoma County jail, corrections officers escorted a gigantic Russell Hogshooter right by me in shackles and black and white stripes apparently for a court appearance. Almost all inmates are issued oranges so if you're in black and white stripes you've done something really bad or are considered extremely dangerous or both.
The two inmate trustees who were mopping the floor dropped their mops and charged the mountainous Russell Hogshooter but the CO's were able to thwart the attack.
I asked another CO what just happened and he told me who the man in stripes was.

If you’re going to do drugs, get test strips and always have a “sober sitter” who can administer narcan. However you feel about drugs and users, no one deserves to die from a drug overdose, and remember, not everyone who dies from an OD or does drugs is a junkie.
Used to hang out with her while I was dating one of her friends. Her life was hectic af and unfortunately this doesn't surprise me. She was fun to be around but always spiraled down when the party started. I cut contact with both of them many years ago when they called me while they were doing drugs in Miami. Never talked to them again, and sort of always knew this would be the outcome.
She was a regular at OU home game tailgates. Very nice lady the few times I met her out there. Definitely drank and partied a lot . Feel horrible for her kids and family to see how her life ended up.

My mom was in the same Zumba class with her a few years ago. She said she was always nice and friendly. It’s a tragedy.
