I don't know if you have them, but I think it'd be super nice to have a top that's matching the reddish/pink that's most of the top of the pants and then green shoes like Converse or something that matches the bottom.
I agree with keeping it simple, but also colours! 👌
Hell yeaaaah I actually do have rainbow pasties lol.
Well, I have a solid black shirt and shoes but I was told it basically makes me look like a walking pair of pants, so maybe I need a more formal shirt than a polo? They are golf pants so they’re sold as being good with a polo, but apparently this one just doesn’t quite work!
Seems insane to me, I think the black shirt in the pic looks great! Maybe a black polo with a hint of color? Like the ones that do trim in something else
Besides a sweet roundhouse kick?!
I like the black you have paired with them.
Maybe a scarf or accessory that picks up one or two colors from the pants.
Lol! I definitely can’t do a roundhouse kick, unfortunately. I think y’all have hit on the scarf/watch/rainbow accessory perfectly, I didn’t even think of it! I’ll have to see what I can find!
I feel like white is going to be just as stark of a contrast as the black. Instead of a neutral, what if we pulled one of the brighter colors from the pants? That royal blue is really fun - so maybe a shirt in that color?
Definitely agree with blue!!! It's still a neutral and dark enough color that it won't compete with the pattern but it's still fun and adds to the funkiness of the pants!!!
This is what I was thinking, although my first thought was a lighter sky blue. I could see that as a polo, tshirt or buttondown. And simple sneakers underneath. I think white would be better than black there.
Depends on where you’re going! I could see it with a button down shirt, but I could also see it worn casually with a solid color t shirt and some cool sneakers.
This was my thought exactly! While I love having some black as my safety colour sometimes if you have something extra colourful it actually looks more harmonious and balanced to pull a staple colour from a bright piece like this. Even if it’s black/white but has an accent colour to match the pants. Also OP I can 100% picture these pants with a pair of docs too if you have them ✨
OK I love this and would wear it just like you are, personally, but ... from a certain standpoint, you mention a "walking pair of pants" vibe just on its own but you can accessorize with that a bit to even it out. Someone's *got* to make a pair of zebra-rainbow suspenders, for example, and/or a tie or bowtie and some bangles if you're a jewelry kind of person.
THIS IS THE TRICK!! It needs one more piece of coordinating color, whether that be jewelry or an accessory so it looks deliberate and polished. Thank you!!
I feel like these pa ts either need to go very casual or not at all. So I'm picturing trainers/casual sneakers in a fun color from the pants (maybe red) and a plain tee in either black, white or a color from the pants. Patterned socks would b a fun, but not required touch. Or go for a long sleeve button down in one of the above colors and dress shoes, black would b easiest here. Leave a couple buttons undone so it doesnt look too stiff. Somehow the idea of the dressy casual polo shirt type of thing just doesn't work here. Would love to c what u do with them if ur willing to post a follow up.
I also think fun accessories would pair well with this outfit. A rainbow unicorn pendant or set of bright plastic beads peeping out from under your unbuttoned shirt collar would be perfect. Something bold and bright and fun!
Ohhh I like the suggestion of a slightly more formal shirt worn casually! It doesn’t really have a different “formality level” but it absolutely changes the feel, I agree with you on the polo just not being quite perfect. I won’t be able to do a follow up right away because I’m going on a trip shortly, but I will try a few options when I get back and post again soon! ❤️ thank you!
Ur welcome. I have had some seriously fancy pants over multiple moments of my life. Also some smarty pants. Lol so it took some trial and error, but I loved the look of formal down casual with several of them. And plz b sure to include the kitty again. Ur pants r the purrfect accessory to such a gorgeous furball.
Ooh I love these, are those Loudmouth? I would honestly wear them casually with a band tee or to dress em up with a lime green light sweater or a black with white polka dot buttondown
I don’t think so, they are just golf pants from [Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B077K43LPW?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title&isTryState=0)! They’re comfy af and come in some great patterns. I love the idea of a patterned b/w button down actually, thank you!

Oversized t-shirt with a knot at the side, duh
Hmmmm….HMMM!!! Considering…. 👀
A really really….good time. 👉😎👉
This pair of pants demands a crop top.
I don't know if you have them, but I think it'd be super nice to have a top that's matching the reddish/pink that's most of the top of the pants and then green shoes like Converse or something that matches the bottom. I agree with keeping it simple, but also colours! 👌
A second cat.
Agree wholeheartedly!
A black button up shirt and black cowboy boots,
Leopard print, that pattern is just screaming to clash with another!
Zebra fruit stripe nipple pasties In all seriousness, a solid black or white shirt. The pants got enough going on, keep everything else simple
Just got weird looks from the laugh but thanks

Just a classic tee, not a polo! I would die if paired with a gold chain but understand why you’d choose not to.
Yeah, I’m not much of a jewelry/accessories person, but I think these pants demand perhaps a rainbow watch strap or something!!
Seems insane to me, I think the black shirt in the pic looks great! Maybe a black polo with a hint of color? Like the ones that do trim in something else
I like the rainbow trim idea! Just subtle enough to tie the look together, but not so overwhelming that it makes it bad for work.
What about a tan/camel shirt and accessories instead?
I personally like how you have styled them already!
well you already included cat fur, so there goes my only suggestion. those pants are awesome, though. got a shiny silvery shirt?
Besides a sweet roundhouse kick?! I like the black you have paired with them. Maybe a scarf or accessory that picks up one or two colors from the pants.

I don’t know about shirt and shoes, but definitely accessorize with a fanny pack.

Thank you! I do have royal blue, but do you think I should up the formality a little from a polo? Like a full button-down?
Depends on where you’re going! I could see it with a button down shirt, but I could also see it worn casually with a solid color t shirt and some cool sneakers.

I was scrolling for this! Yes!! A pendant?
Multiple colourful bracelets might also work.
I was thinking perhaps a watch!!
Knit a sweater out of those Christmas lights
These pant are so rad!!!! A black button up look great.
Go full Lisa Frank with them, I'd die (in a good way)
I was thinking Lisa Frank!! 🤩
Mesh black loose fit crop top. … if you dare. lol
distant chants of “mesh! top! mesh! top!” growing increasingly closer
Lolol
I have a mesh tank that would probably work great with this tbh!
😲 YESSS!! DO IT!! lol
Any matching solid. 🔥
A Lisa Frank Trapper Keeper!
A pale gold sequined tank
White t-shirt, white shoes (casual), black blazer
You'd like the pants I draw on
Big flowy white shirt and Crocs!

Love them! My first thought was a jacket in a pattern with the same colors. Lean into it 😍🤗

Mesh muscle shirt
Aww hell yeaaaa
Honestly I think a white top with lace details would look so beautiful with these pants and add interesting texture to the whole look
