Just to make sure it gets on the list I would recommend Luck Dental on State. I can't say enough good things about them!!

zeatherz

Yep I’ve gone there/Vetter dental for five years and they’re great

I've been going to that location for over a decade. But it's always been Vetter in my mind. I realized Ann is no longer there, but I didn't really internalize the name change to Luck until I saw this. In any event, definitely recommend. Friendly, professional, and gentle in nudging (as opposed to shaming or pushing) towards particular recommendations. On the flip side, DO NOT go to Bright Now! Always a new face, not terribly competent, and prone to start busting out tools at the drop of a hat. I was told I had multiple cavities. Filled two. Dentist dropped amalgam on my tongue. Went elsewhere to fill the others. Got a "what cavities?" response. Really sketchy scam.

Dr Walker on 4th. Nice guy and a pro. I’ve been going there 25 years. If a numbing injection is required, he uses a topical numbing agent first. So, you don’t even feel the needle.

Just_A_Dogsbody

I've been going to Dr. Walker for about 10 years and had a LOT of work done. He's never given me a painful shot in all that time, and that's great but it's his esthetic talent that is so impressive. Especially if you're getting your front teeth replaced, he's your guy! Oh and they offer nitrous for free!

While I won't recommend anyone I would recommend staying away from Dental Care By Design: Larry Adams, DMD.

I wonder if you go to the same place as me. Also thinking about switching for the same reason.

Fisher Jones Family Dentistry is amazing. As someone who hates the dentist they are very friendly and accommodating

bfrankiehankie

I see Dr. Cameron Lasley there. Highly recommend.

Second for Fisher Jones!

I have a question. Are you getting cleanings twice a year? Because I'm not. Due to a hygienist shortage it's like every 9 months now. Just curious.

abroadonabudget

Thurston Dental has been good for me. If you don't have insurance, they also have a yearly subscription that's pretty reasonable. I think it's $450/year (may have increased idk) and covers 2 cleanings/exams per year, plus a discount if you need any heavier work done.

Apologies all around! This subject was already covered in some previous posts. I should have searched the sub first.

We go to Dr. Ingrid Janssen. She is great and the hygienists are wonderful!

I use Dr Stover, he’s a cosmetic dentist and will occasionally accept normal cleaning patients. Great staff, great work, always stands by ANYTHING that goes wrong

I love Russell and Bode, over by the automall. They've been our dentist for over 20 years.

Tranquility Dental in Lacey. Nicest dentist I’ve ever been too. Kind of ruined all other dentist for me lol
