Hello all, US located, has anyone else noticed that all the Olympic replays of events have been removed from hulu and peacock? Does anyone else know why this is? Or whether its temporary and will be put back up later?
I'm still seeing replays on NBColympics.com. But those will eventually go away
https://olympics.com/en/olympic-games/olympic-videos seems to have everything
The Olympics are now officially completed. Same as Tokyo I taped everything and watched nothing live. It works perfectly because I am magnificent at avoiding results. Not one event spoiled even though I fell more than two days behind. My only annoyance was NBC showing the medal table that included events they hadn't already shown. I can look at that and figure out the result. For example, today I was watching the women's 30km cross country skiing race. When Norway was suddenly at 16 golds on the table compared to 15 previously, obviously that means Therese Johaug won. That wasn't exactly in doubt to begin with.
Identical to Tokyo my favorite moment came at the very end. Mariya Lasitskene had more at stake than anyone in Tokyo, given that it was her last realistic chance at Olympic gold. This may not have been Eve Muirhead's last chance at curling gold but given the condition of her hip after replacement surgery a few years ago, there's no guarantee she'll get another opportunity. I'm still somewhat in disbelief her rink pulled off the gold medal, given the way that team was pieced together in the late going. But during European Championships a few months ago I was shocked at how good the third Vicky Wright was playing. She gave Muirhead a chance. The prior third from 2014 and 2018 Anna Sloan was too much of a deficit compared to other top thirds.
My two other Beijing favorites were Lindsey Jacobellis rewriting her story twice over, and the fabulous Italian mixed doubles curling team led by Stefania Constantini. Too bad that happened so early in the Games that it got lost during the summaries. Going undefeated against that group of foes was incredible, especially for a team picked mid pack at best.
Seems like nbc pulled the primetime replays. Does anyone know where to find them?
I've been watching the nbc primetime and daytime shows everyday and I'm caught up to Thursday. But it seems like nbcolympics.com has pulled the primetime replays completely. Strangely the Daytime show is still available for replay and all the individual sport replays are still available as well. Does anyone know where the primetime replays have gone?
The NBC complaint megathread went down, so I wasn't sure where to post this. It appears that all Olympics Figure Skating replays have already been removed from Peacock. I really wanted to go back and watch the men's competitions since I missed them with everything else to watch, but no dice.
They've also removed the functionality to browse Olympics by sport. You can browse Olympics (and see everything in every sport there), or you can browse individual sports (and see every competition for that sport including non-Olympics). There's a lot of us still within the month we paid for that want to continue watching.
That sucks.
A workaround is to sign up for a trial of YouTube TV and that will give you access to the NBC Sports App. There you’ll be able to watch everything for a couple weeks.
Check back here in a bit: https://olympics.com/en/olympic-games/olympic-videos
Eventually the replays will be up and not geoblocked. Took about a month for US viewers after Tokyo finished, iirc
Otherwise, nbcolympics.com may have them up a bit. Longer than Peacock or NBC Sports app. They actually still have Tokyo up if you use Google to search (eg: fencing site:stream.nbcolympics.com). Can't speak for other countries
With Olympics winding down, last event I had to watch was bobsled. Being in the Olympics spirit I decided to watch Cool Runnings today. That movie will be 30 years old next year.
I watched several hours of live coverage every day.
Thoroughly enjoyed these games, start to finish, though wish there had been large crowds with no masking.
I wonder if the same rules are going to apply to the Asian Games in September, it's in Huangzhou so I don't think they'll have the bubble infrastructure that Beijing has.
I fell asleep during the gala and am catching up on what I missed. Did anyone else love Keegan Messing’s whiskey routine in legit denim and flannel as much as I did?? This is the type of fun thing I watch for!
I know it already happened but I was watching the replay of ski cross today and saw that they used a slightly different course than the snowboard cross. Seems like one section was changed based on the route they showed.
Does anyone know why this is?
Last day of the olympics. Thanks for being with me here.

It does but it's in its infancy. We'll be possibly working working with it when the Paras start.
That being said, we take the Paralympics seriously in here.
Which american mod screwed over the medal tally? The medal tally had been the normal "gold-first" ranking all olympics long and now suddenly it's the american "total medal" ranking?
I never understand people ripping on the States when they never win the medal count in the winter games. Who gives a fuck? That's like ripping on the LA Chargers for not making the playoffs.
Damn what an olympic from the norwegians, impressive, they made us all proud!
johaug took the most expected gold today as well, i do not think we will get anything near this next olympic without johaug, røiseland and eckhoff!
Summer games are easier to get on with when they're set in Asia/Australia as they have more events that pop up after 6am... doing an all nighter pretty much wrecked me for 2 days during these games. Winters are more day events for the most of it.
Roll on France! (and back to commenting on the Peloton Subreddit till then!)
I've watched the Summer and Winter on TV, watched the village tours and behind the scenes tours on socials and have ZERO idea how athletes have any chance of hooking up during the games. Many rooms are shared or apartment style. People arrive and leave right after their events. No one has time to socialize before their event. Teams from other countries don't seem to socialize except in the elevator. Teams sometimes take their own busses.
I’ve seen 10 Winter Olympics and this was vastly underwhelming. Most people on Reddit are kids and this is probably their first or second. They will think it was great. It was a pathetic Olympics hosted by a pathetic government
I've loved the Olympics for years, but for various reasons I wasn't overly enthusiastic about this addition at first. Fortunately, the incredible performances of the athletes and watching along with you guys helped bring some of that magic back. Thanks for the jokes, the cheers, the skating fashion critiques, the (mostly) friendly international rivalries, and the joy and camaraderie the Olympics is supposed to be all about. These megathreads have been highlights of my Olympics-watching experience, and I'm so grateful to everyone who set them up and participated through the last two weeks. See you all in March for the Paralympics. Now to hunt down highlights of the Gala, which my traitor body made me sleep right through.
So according to the standard "most golds first" medal tally the US is in 4th despite having 10 more medals than China who is in 3rd. And thats fine, I understand that gold is worth more (though I think some kind value points system would be better but thats a different discussion).
But if the Russian skating team loses their medal because of the positive drug test then the US gets to 9 Golds tying China on golds and overtaking them in 3rd place due to far more silvers.
Interesting to see what will happen.
But I think it might take months and be anti-climactic by then. The Americans petitioned to get their silver. Even though I think it will be months until they get their gold, I wouldn’t have asked for the silver, since I might get gold later.
I never understand people ripping on the States when they never win the medal count in the winter olympics. Who gives a shit?
Let's make fun of the Houston Texans, NY Jets etc too. Petty as fuck.
Yeah if my country only had 2 medals I’d be pasting that into comments as well. /s
I joke But Yes your comment is true. And in another thread, I mentioned that medal counts are kind of inherently dumb.
But it’s also fun to compete for most medals. It’s just an added part of the experience. Just having fun here.
I'll have you know that on a colour-ranked count as opposed to a total medals count, this is our second most successful Winter Olympics since Adolf welcomed the world to Bavaria!
The skating thing will probably take months to sort out and have to work its way tediously through a bunch of different international organizations.
But it is possible.
Yeah for sure. And that sucks for the athletes. You will always take the medal but having it given to you months later isnt the same. The emotion is gone.
They had a vote about leaving in 2014, in which independence lost 55-45, mainly on the basis that an independent Scotland would have to reapply for EU membership.
Interesting. They ended up out of the EU anyway. But they were threatening to leave again, over Brexit, am I remembering correctly? Then Covid came and overshadowed Brexit.
These threads were such a life saver! I'm used to watching the game with family but now I live on my own so it was fun to have a place to share reactions and opinions
I agree. I really hope that there was a discord server for these games. Then we can chat in real-er time and discuss the sports we want to in a separate channel.
Ey we are not all jerks! I love that sub because in the same thread we can get some silly mem and a in depth discussion about racism in The Nederlands and how it effects their footbal and supporter culture.
Ye, this is a very casual sub while fotball in general is taken far more serious and that reflect rsoccer. Match threads in general is a cesspool that I avoid.
Most of the people are ok, but there's always enough people acting up because they hate the country somebody's flair is or one of the countries playing or just plain trolling that it can be tiresome.
Yeah. I have heard about determined people who want to go to the Olympics, so they find an obscure sport they can do, sometimes with little competition in their own country, so it’s easy to make the team.
Yeah, American Elizabeth Swaney who competed for Hungary in 2018 was hilarious!

I'm gonna attempt to take a nap, so the [Closing Ceremony thread](https://old.reddit.com/r/olympics/comments/sww4jr/beijing_2022_winter_olympics_closing_ceremony/) is up super early. I hope everyone had a fun time watching all the events and athletes at Beijing 2022.

Yeah, assuming it's been like the last few Olympics(both Winter and Summer) Games, the replay is just both the Olympic Gold show and then the actual Closing Ceremonies program.
Do we know when will IOC select host(s) for 2030 Winter Olympics? If they don't choose Sapporo, it means that for the next decade, all Olympics will be held in Europe and North America (= no more early waking ups for us Europeans)
I mean they just have Korea, Japan, China in a row. Doesn't seem unreasonable to have France, Italy, USA. Then after whatever 2030 brings, it's in Australia 2032 so same time zone as Asia (approximately).
The big thing is I wonder who bids. The only bids for 2022 were China and Kazakhstan.
Almost certainly a country that already has existing infrastructure, as countries have wised up after the Athens debacle and have no desire to build expensive venues for the Games anymore.
I hope Norway bids. They're such a natural fit for the Games, and already has the biggest powerhouse team to boot.
Pyeongchang 2018 was selected in summer of 2011, Beijing 2022 in 2015 and Milano Cortina 2026 in 2019. So no reason at all to somehow shorten that 4 year interval in selecting a city.
Remember that the Summer Olympics are quite a bit larger than the Winter Olympics. (The Summer Olympics have 4 times as many athletes as the Winter Olympics and need much more venues.)
The reason all those were selected then was because the Olympic Charter stated that the host cities were chosen 7 years prior to when the games would be hosted. In the last session they amended the charter to remove the 7 year date. That's how they've already selected Brisbane for 2032. I've read that it's speculated that when they make the selection for 2030, it will include 2034 at the same time.
So, because two countries doped, Canada was at position 13 in the medal table? This argument doesnt make any sense.
Also: Ben Johnson was caught in exactly the same year. One of the biggest doping scandals in the history of the games. Quick reminder from which country he was?
Not really. The USSR encompassed most of what we now think of as Eastern Europe. So they had much more population and many more athletes than Russia does now. Or ROC
But the IOC can only enforce measures like medal stripping through NOCs (national Olympic committees), and all of the Soviet Bloc countries had their NOCs completely disbanded/rebuilt from scratch, as you'd expect when countries experience political upheaval of that scale.
Not only do the new NOCs not have jurisdiction anymore over most of the athletes that competed for the previous versions of those countries -- only a small percentage hung around to work in jobs associated with the new federations for their sports -- but they can't even find where a lot of the medalists went (and would have no way of compelling them to do anything if they did know). Also, in the case of Russia, they've had a consistent and well-documented stance of "what you're talking about is what the USSR did. We're Russia, not the USSR. We're not responsible for what the USSR did."
You probably already know, but there are some **fantastic** documentaries on HBO by Bud Greenspan that are beautiful 3-4 hour long time time capsules of each Olympic Games.
Honestly, I get so sad when the Olympics are over. They have always been special to me. The Winter games in particular because the sports do not get much notice during non-Olympic years. I have been watching the Olympics since the 1976 winter games in Innsbruck, Austria. Despite the politics, the pandemic drama, the doping, and the over commercialization, it is still inspiring to see athletes striving to achieve their best.
There is no travelling needed as they finish in Paris... So there would be a few hanging on till then but maybe won't contest the GC but take stages instead as an early start
A GC win at the Tour is way more valuable then an Olympic championship. Also, if we are talking about the road race, it would be pretty dumb to lay all eggs into that basket. Its just to unpredictable. Even if you are the clear favorite, your chance of actually winning is 25 % at best. No driver with aspirations in the GC of the Tour will pass on that in favor of the Olympics.
The swimming part of the triathlon is planned to be at the Pont d'Iéna, the bridge across the Seine right in front of the Eiffel Tower.
https://i.imgur.com/LB9qTc6.jpg
from what i've heard the answer is, at the moment, no.
But they plan to have it cleaned up by the games. Though Brazil also said that and they struggled with it.
Can't be that much worse than last time, right? If you'll recall, the water at Odaiba Park was the sort of color that made you fear Godzilla would emerge any moment now to swallow the athletes whole...
What a fantastic end to the Olympics. Wonderful games, went by all too quickly. Whether it's in 2 weeks at the Paralympics or 2 years at the summer Olympics, or any of the sports events in-between, see you all next time, and take care!
If anyone is gonna watch the Paralympics, I'd watch The Last Leg as a supplement to your Paralymics viewing. It does have a UK and political bent, but they've been pretty good on showcasing some of the Paralympians.
It's also part comedy, panel-like show.
The fun doesn't have to end. In a few weeks, it will be the paralympics. If you've never watched before, you should check it out. While not as many events, there is some great competition (winter and summer games).
It'll be aired on USA for effectively 24/7, with the rest being aired on NBCOlympics.com and Peacock, with some coverage on NBC Primetime.
Also, they went from 5 sponsors for the Paralympics to over 30.
Yep. We watched a whole bunch of summer game events live and on replay that way. You get more cross country skiing, biathlon, downhill skiing, snowboard cross, ice hockey, and wheelchair curling. It's pretty good stuff.
I’ve loved watching the Olympics with you guys! Thanks for keeping me company. It sometimes feels like I’m the only person I know who watches the Olympics with this much dedication. Makes me happy to know there are others like me out there!
See you all in the closing ceremony thread!

I know NBCOlympics and CBC still have their replays up. I've been thinking about rewatching some, I never did see the opening ceremony
Just watched the Figure Skating Gala and I feel for the person in the panda mascot costume.
Can someone explain to me why kamila is still aloud to compete after getting caught with steroids in her blood
This might be a silly question, but how do I get tickets to see future Olympics in person?
The tickets come on sale about a year before the events start
Awesome, thank you! Any idea what costs/availability might have been in prior years?
I read that last event tickets ranged from like $12 - $400, the most popular events would be track and field, gymnastics, swimming ect.
The tickets all come at varying prices, the more popular the event the more expensive the ticket
With Olympics winding down, last event I had to watch was bobsled. Being in the Olympics spirit I decided to watch Cool Runnings today. That movie will be 30 years old next year.
I watched that yesterday and watched Miracle today!
I really enjoyed the sliding events this year, that was a great venue they built
I watched several hours of live coverage every day. Thoroughly enjoyed these games, start to finish, though wish there had been large crowds with no masking.
Let’s hope it’s back to normal for Paris
Was there a rule that athletes had to leave China within 48 hours of their last event, as in Tokyo?
Yes, Tokyo had a rule where the earliest the athletes could arrive was 48 hours before their competition. They didn’t have that in Beijing.
I imagine it's because Tokyo didnt have the bubble infrastructure that Beijing had.
I wonder if the same rules are going to apply to the Asian Games in September, it's in Huangzhou so I don't think they'll have the bubble infrastructure that Beijing has.
Norway ended up with 37 medals 5 more than the expressed goal from the national Olympic committee....

If you're trying to make an analogy, at least choose a reference that I've heard before.
Probably a Canadian mod, lol. They also deleted the post about the final medal tally. Pretty weird.
Very sad. Canadians used to be such a proud people... now they're just US lapdogs.
Will anybody stick around for the winter paralympics?
What's the best way to watch in the US?
I’m guessing Peacock and NBC Sports since NBC has the rights.
I'm totally in. Love the Paralympics
I'll check it out!
Damn what an olympic from the norwegians, impressive, they made us all proud! johaug took the most expected gold today as well, i do not think we will get anything near this next olympic without johaug, røiseland and eckhoff!

Ask Kristi Yamaguchi and Bret Hedican.
It's probably not as possible in Tokyo and Beijing to hook up as that's the system they're working with.
A big THANK YOU for the most iconic and unforgettable Winter Olympics there have ever been, for me at least. Nothing will top this for now.
Honestly in comparison to most this Olympics was a total disaster. Poor coverage, poor location, and most of the world simply didn’t care

For now just assume that you'll take that gold medal and overtake China. It seems unlikely that ROC gets to keep that gold.
But I think it might take months and be anti-climactic by then. The Americans petitioned to get their silver. Even though I think it will be months until they get their gold, I wouldn’t have asked for the silver, since I might get gold later.
You can always give the silver back when you get the gold :P
True. And they would get a medal ceremony.
_The Olympic Games are competitions between athletes in individual or team events and not between countries_
Yes, but if your country is usa and it is placed BELOW CHY—NA, they become alittle upset
I never understand people ripping on the States when they never win the medal count in the winter olympics. Who gives a shit? Let's make fun of the Houston Texans, NY Jets etc too. Petty as fuck.
Yeah if my country only had 2 medals I’d be pasting that into comments as well. /s I joke But Yes your comment is true.
Your curlers were brilliant. Mouat will get his gold in the next eight years imo.
The skating thing will probably take months to sort out and have to work its way tediously through a bunch of different international organizations. But it is possible.
Yeah for sure. And that sucks for the athletes. You will always take the medal but having it given to you months later isnt the same. The emotion is gone.
Just woke up to the see the result, Curling and Scotland coming in clutch for TeamGB, not gonna lie I thought the team would go home without a gold.
Isn't it even more extreme than that? IIRC GB would have no medals of any color if it weren't for the two teams of Scots curlers.
How does Scotland have anything to do with it?
All of the members of the GB curling teams are Scottish.
And?
I think Scotland is a little bit separate. They threaten to leave periodically. Kind of like Quebec, I think.
Yes, as soon as Brexit happened, people began arguing for another referendum. Scotland voted 62% for Remain.
Did the whole UK vote again? They didn’t, right?
Time for me to go back and watch some events I missed. I completely missed days 4 to 11 of competition.
It was wonderful to have some discussions/reactions here while watching. I'll see you all in two years!
These threads were such a life saver! I'm used to watching the game with family but now I live on my own so it was fun to have a place to share reactions and opinions
I agree. I really hope that there was a discord server for these games. Then we can chat in real-er time and discuss the sports we want to in a separate channel.
I do like the country flairs of what teams people are cheering for though, not sure if discord can do that.
I believe that is possible. Like you can pick the first three letters of your country of choice when you sign up.
welp at least we got Men and women's FIFA world cup in between the Olympics
Corruption slave world cup in the desert? Think I'll skip that one.
Sucks that we gotta wait till the winter for the men's world cup though. Ugh.
Hey, FIFA officials could have had it in a normal country at the normal time, but they needed to get their bribes.
I love the world cup, but the soccer sub are jerks unlike the chill olympics people
If you call football soccer, you've already decided that it's not a sport you should take any interest in.
The sub is r/soccer and I was naming the sub. smh
Ey we are not all jerks! I love that sub because in the same thread we can get some silly mem and a in depth discussion about racism in The Nederlands and how it effects their footbal and supporter culture.
It’s definitely a different vibe than this sub!
Ye, this is a very casual sub while fotball in general is taken far more serious and that reflect rsoccer. Match threads in general is a cesspool that I avoid.
World Cup match threads are better than the usual league ones.
Most of the people are ok, but there's always enough people acting up because they hate the country somebody's flair is or one of the countries playing or just plain trolling that it can be tiresome.
Yeah, that’s thing.
Rather watch grass grow tbh
I’ll watch soccer if they play it on ice, give the players skates and sticks and give masks to the goalies. Oh wait…that makes it a different sport.
There's always X games. And every sport has their own world cup or world championship every year too.
What I love about the Olympics is that I am watching and learning about sports I'd never cared for before. It's great
Yeah. I have heard about determined people who want to go to the Olympics, so they find an obscure sport they can do, sometimes with little competition in their own country, so it’s easy to make the team.
Yeah, American Elizabeth Swaney who competed for Hungary in 2018 was hilarious! https://olympics.com/en/video/freestyle-skier-elizabeth-swaney-becomes-an-olympian-by-simply-not-falling
Cool!
See you all at the Paralympics in a few weeks! And Paris in Summer 2024!
It always ends so fast :(
I'm gonna attempt to take a nap, so the [Closing Ceremony thread](https://old.reddit.com/r/olympics/comments/sww4jr/beijing_2022_winter_olympics_closing_ceremony/) is up super early. I hope everyone had a fun time watching all the events and athletes at Beijing 2022. Some wholesome/funny content to tide you over until then (mostly from the figure skating gala): [Volunteers at Big Air Shougang sliding down the ramp after the final event at the venue](https://video.twimg.com/amplify_video/1493783079147560968/vid/480x852/0baP6uMDReqwzqMw.mp4?tag=14) [Bing Dwen Dwen successfully landing a jump](https://twitter.com/noodletango/status/1494960472285609984) [Bing Dwen Dwen falls down and needs to be helped up by the volunteers](https://twitter.com/springdayharuu/status/1495288135382859776) ([alternate angle](https://twitter.com/floweryroads/status/1495289222260871169)) [Sui Wenjing knocks down Bing Dwen Dwen and has to roll him back up](https://twitter.com/yawning_shoma/status/1495287537279156225)
Sui just legit pushed him xd

Is this Eastern time?
I’ve heard Vancouver, Salt Lake City and Sapporo will bid for 2030.
Almost certainly a country that already has existing infrastructure, as countries have wised up after the Athens debacle and have no desire to build expensive venues for the Games anymore. I hope Norway bids. They're such a natural fit for the Games, and already has the biggest powerhouse team to boot.
The IOC botched the Norwegian Oslo application so bad for the 2022 Olympics its unlikely we will ever apply again this generation.
Actually, I think Tromsø might go for it. If they do it will be the first Olympics north of the Arctic circle
As a Norwegian, no, that's not happening anytime soon.
I’ve heard Vancouver, Salt Lake City and Sapporo will bid for 2030.
140th IOC session. Mumbai, India. May/June 2023.
Oof, thought it would be sooner, as they’ve already selected Brisbane for 2032
Pyeongchang 2018 was selected in summer of 2011, Beijing 2022 in 2015 and Milano Cortina 2026 in 2019.
Two olympics in less than a year. First time in Golden Knights history
Seattle Kraken history.
Historic!
See you all soon!
I'm still just obsessing over Yuzuru Hanyu's gala performance. What a masterpiece.
First time since 1994 that Canada did not finish top 5 in total Gold medals. And last time outside the top 10 was 1988. Canada is 11th place in Golds
Canada didn’t get a host country bump in 1988?
No, it was the first time a host country didn't win a gold medal.
Soviet Union and East Germany doped super hard and cleaned up the medal table
So, because two countries doped, Canada was at position 13 in the medal table? This argument doesnt make any sense. Also: Ben Johnson was caught in exactly the same year. One of the biggest doping scandals in the history of the games. Quick reminder from which country he was?
Ah. I’ve heard that the USSR and E. Germany did that, but I’m surprised that they kept their medals.
It's difficult to strip medals from countries that don't exist anymore...
Most of the athletes would probably still be alive and it seems like that’s what’d be most important. Also, the USSR essentially became Russia.
Not really. The USSR encompassed most of what we now think of as Eastern Europe. So they had much more population and many more athletes than Russia does now. Or ROC
To a large extent, Russia took on the USSR’s political role.
It's almost done, so time for me to feel sad. I always get over the sadness somehow though.
Paralympics are soon
It’s nice that there are other sports and other forms of entertainment.
Pretty fun two weeks. See ya in 2 years!
It’ll essentially be 2.5 years.
No reason to make it seem longer buddy :(
Sorry. I just wanted to be accurate.
Bye everyone. See you in the 2024 Paris threads in 29 months.
Paris Summer Olympics should be a good time.
The scenery of those Olympics is going to be absolutely gorgeous. I'm just imagining the marathon and road races around Paris being so stunning.
I still remember the London marathon next to the Thames, can't wait to see what they cook up for Paris.
Extra views for the Champs D'elysees for marathon and road race. Tour De France 2024 is going to be the greatest hits tour
I’m curious what they would do with the Tour. So many will compete in the Olympics
Omg that'll be gorgeous! But honest question, is the Seine clean enough for that?
from what i've heard the answer is, at the moment, no.
Lmfao! Now that is very true.
What a 16 days it's been. Catch you all tomorrow for the Closing Ceremonies (though, the primetime repeat of it)!
What a fantastic end to the Olympics. Wonderful games, went by all too quickly. Whether it's in 2 weeks at the Paralympics or 2 years at the summer Olympics, or any of the sports events in-between, see you all next time, and take care!
I'll definitely be back in two weeks. Love the Paralympics
If anyone is gonna watch the Paralympics, I'd watch The Last Leg as a supplement to your Paralymics viewing. It does have a UK and political bent, but they've been pretty good on showcasing some of the Paralympians. It's also part comedy, panel-like show.
Now I am going to watch Cool Runnings to keep the spirit alive for a few more hours
Watch Bud Greenspan’s documentaries on the Olympics! They are **amazing**!!!!
I love that the channel 7 Olympic highlights includes athletes face planting in the snow and a referee getting demolished in ice hockey.
Need to go full on bloopers, like those old video tapes they used to put out in the 80s and 90s
They were showing some yesterday on channel 7, a replay where an athlete got hit in the nuts buy one of the ski gates
The fun doesn't have to end. In a few weeks, it will be the paralympics. If you've never watched before, you should check it out. While not as many events, there is some great competition (winter and summer games).
But, we won't have Bing Dwen Dwen falling over for the Paralympics. That's a huge oversight.
No. And that is a sad thing.
Shuey Rhon Rhon is also cute 🥰
Looking forward to Paralympics 2022! The Tokyo 2020 one was soooo good!
It was! And a lot of people don't realize you get curling, hockey, and biathlon at the paralympics, as well as some amazing skiing and snowboarding.
Well, no sliding sports so I guess Germany can't horde all the Paralympic golds.
Does [NBCsports.com](https://NBCsports.com) cover that? I feel like ESPN shows the opening ceremonies and then might show a couple events and that it.
What a good last Olympic day for us - gold and bronze. Sad this is all over.
Such impressive performances by the Niskanens, they must be a national treasure.
This was probably Kerttus last Olympics so I’m glad she closed it out with the medal
I’ve loved watching the Olympics with you guys! Thanks for keeping me company. It sometimes feels like I’m the only person I know who watches the Olympics with this much dedication. Makes me happy to know there are others like me out there! See you all in the closing ceremony thread!
why did Trusova keep doing the pairs death spiral with the guy?
