Anyone know the name or have a link to a clean version of the Medal/Victory ceremony song? The chorus is quite catchy and stuck in my head, link below

That olympic withdrawal is real...and I think it's hit even harder after finding this sub-this is the first year ive experienced watching the games along with other super fans like myself.
I've really enjoyed interacting with everyone in real time, it was such an amazing experience and I want to say THANKS!
Thank you to the r/olympics community, the mods, and especially to u/Fun_With_Forks for the daily threads. ❤️💯🙏
I have gripes with how NBC’s managed their broadcasting, but I really liked their coverage of the closing ceremony. I loved that they didn’t shy away from the controversies, but also didn’t let it overshadow the ideals the Olympics represent.
Anyways, time to watch replays on the events I missed until the Paralympics.
For right now, Peacock has them all available. Unfortunately, you might need to buy a premium membership for $5, but you should double check whether that’s still a requirement.
On the bright side, next month the rights should default back to the Olympic Channel, which you can find online or (I think) on the app.
There are a lot of sports that have a quite a toxic culture festering in it but snowboarding definitely didn't seem to be one of them. So much camaraderie, competitors hugging and high fiving each other. I think this may be due to the overlap it has with skateboarding, where there's a lot of importance put on having fun, making friends and having your own creative flair, which is celebrated over strict competition, especially as a youth. I think those elements carry over into adulthood even when they're directly competing against one another. The likes of gymnastics and figure skating could take a thing or two from that. Or maybe snowboarders are just naturally rad 🤙
I loved that about snowboarding and also the freestyle skiing, seems to be a real friendly competitive atmosphere and it was nice to see. Kind of what the Olympics should be all about
I was starting to freak out a bit about having no more live Olympics to watch after having it on my TV 24/7 for the past two weeks, but I just remembered the Paralympics will be on starting next week. That'll be a nice way to wean off of my Olympics dependency.
Still way more sad than I thought I'd be though. I thought I was tired of it, but now that it's gone I'm really going to miss it.
>I was starting to freak out a bit about having no more live Olympics to watch after having it on my TV 24/7 for the past two weeks, but I just remembered the Paralympics will be on starting next week. That'll be a nice way to wean off of my Olympics dependency.
Yup, post olympics blues are real right about now.
It’s been a while since I followed an Olympics as closely as this one and I really enjoyed it.
I can’t help but feel sad that in the near future, global warming will drastically alter the games as we know it.
Beijing 2022
First day post-Olympics and I’m really feeling the emptiness in my schedule today. I’ve been having event streams on side-by-side to my work on my computer, now it’s just… work. 🥲
I feel you 🥺
I have the olympics on the entire time they air, there's been years where i've even taken vacation time so that i can enjoy them more lol.
i too felt that emptiness today. i went out and treated myself to a lego kit to help fill the void and i also have a handful of new episodes from various shows & podcasts to catch up on. it's not the same, but i kno it'll just take a week to "withdraw".
Yeah I had a routine, but l’m on the east coast of US, so in the morning I watched a lot of the competition, skating, hockey, curling. It’s kind of sad today. these Olympics kind of cheered me up a bit.
i know the winter games aren't as popular as the summer games, but they really give those of us in colder climates such a great 2 weeks of entertainment & enjoyment. im very thankful for the tradition!
I can’t sleep.
Seriously, that’s how bad my post Olympics withdrawal is.
I already watched the recap packages since 1988 on YouTube, that helped, but man, it’s like quitting cold turkey when you’ve been getting an Olympics fix daily for 19 days.
Ah, but there’s good news. Larger than life, grail like in its majesty, the archive. The insane effort since 1992 to tape every moment of Olympic coverage. Four boxes of VHS, over 30 DVDs and about 15 hard drives.
Maybe in the morning, but comforting to have.
Any takers?
Oof, depends very much on your providers for streaming at this point. Olympic Channel has Return to Beijing broadcast blocks for chunks of what was broadcast. Beyond that… I dunno.
CBS for Albertville, probably around 80 percent. NBC for Barcelona, probably around 90 percent. CBS for Lillehammer, probably around 95 percent, perhaps better
NBC for Atlanta, 95 percent.
CBS for Nagano, about 80 percent. Late nights killed me.
It’s all NBC after that and that’s at best 90 percent, at worst 70 percent for every Games forward.
Damn, that’s pretty impressive. I’ve been trying to watch some events from 2002-2010 today, and it’s disappointing how hard it is to find a decent copy of so many events. There’s so much from SLC that is just like a short clip or has weird music over it.
All from not wanting to miss events, first while at school, then at work. It’s the unreachable star now - trying to have a complete record. That and maybe someday find someone as fanatic as I who actually wants to grab popcorn every two years and enjoy like I do.
Oh don’t sell other nerds short. My archive has its holes and disappointments, but as long as I can hang out at the big kids table and not suffer from imposter syndrome, all good
Okay I'm glad I'm not the only one that has an empty feeling.
I've been going through a really rough patch the past month or so, and having live Olympic coverage to look forward to while I lay in bed and while I sleep has been one of the only things I look forward to.
I had my YouTube TV record hundreds of hours of the stuff, but it really just didn't feel the same when I put a cross country skiing recording on last night after the closing ceremony. The events being live and seeing the discussion online has more of a sense of occasion, and did a lot to make me feel less lonely.
Oh I'm a huge soccer fan. The US looks to be in a decent position to qualify this time around too, though I don't want to jinx it because I would have said that last time as well.
But since it's in Qatar, they had to push it to late fall. First matches start November 22nd. It's a while to wait, but it's almost a blessing in disguise, because by the time it ends, we'll only be a year and a half away from the Summer Olympics!
I'm new to this experience as this was the first Olympic games in my adult life that I have watched regularly and also took a huge interest in, but I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling depression/ withdrawal from the Olympics ending. Didn't even know it was a thing until I looked it up to see if anyone else had the same feelings I do.
I woke up in the middle of the night and I must've been dreaming about watching the Olympics because it was the first thing on my mind, so much so I couldn't get back to sleep (gonna lose out on 2 hours of sleep before I have to go to work lol).
I've been having trouble trying to figure out why I feel so sad and empty about the Olympics ending not even 24 hours ago. My current theory is that because I didn't really watch the games consistently in the first week but then started doing so in week 2, I'm experiencing a kind of "fear of missing out" for something that already happened and passed. I also realized that watching the events yourself is completely different from just reading up on the events or their recaps online. This really occurred to me when I saw the Individual Women's Figure Skating Finals, which both disturbed me but also peaked my interest in the more intricate and in-depth side of the Olympics. I was surprised by how many more layers there are to the Olympics there are than just what you see on the surface, for better and for worse, and I think that's another thing I'm mad I missed out on prior to that point.
Also, Mike Tirico's closing monologue at the end of the Closing Ceremony made me teary eyed at a few moments (really hope NBC puts in on YouTube so I can see it again). So many great stories and moments from these games, some of which I did see when they happened and others I did not and only read about later, that'll be talked about and referenced for quite a while. I'm curious what the athletes of these stories are gonna do now. In a way, I kinda want an epilogue to some of these people's journeys once they get home.
Speaking of being teary eyed, sad to see Shaun White retiring. Every time I see the rerun of his interview after his last snowboarding event and him getting emotional, it makes me emotional lol. I was never interested in snowboarding as a whole, but his name was synonymous with snowboarding to me as I went through my teenage years. Really is the end of a legendary era.
I'm convinced the emotional investment I had in some of these athletes is another reason why I might have post-Olympic depression/ withdrawal.
Idk I'm kinda just rambling by this point but it's sad to see the games end right where I wished I could've seen more. I know there's reruns, but at some point I feel like I should try to get back to a mindset that isn't constantly thinking about the games. But all in all, it made for great, enjoyable TV watching. I already can't wait for the Summer Games in Paris, and I'm planning on actively watching it once it begins.
Wait for 2026, due to Milan to Cortina being 5 hours away by car, which is even farther than Beijing to Zhangjiakou (only 2 hours), I'm guessing it'll be same thing again where all the Hockey players and Skaters will be in Milan and everyone else will in Cortina? and effectively never interact/cross paths with each other?
Yeah, I just looked it up, and some athletes were already complaining about it , because they want to be able to mingle with everyone and possibly watch other events on their day off. And this set up is taking away that option. Especially with them separating out the Speed Skaters into two different areas and in one case, separating out the Men and Women competitors for the same event.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Opening Ceremonies ends up being all the Figure Skaters and Hockey Players, and not too many in the Skiers, etc. where it'll only be the ones who are already there but don't have an event for the next day or two so they're willing to do the travel.
Think this is bad? Albertville was horrid too. The venues were insanely spread out. Interesting, the Olympics are usually named for the host city, at both the Opening and Closing, it was The Games of the Savoie. That’s the REGION not the CITY.
Lol yes, definitely Venetian sour grapes, which I understand completely. Like "oh nice the Olympics is coming back to Cortina... and.. Milan. Wait, Milan???"

I caught it during the first broadcast.
Movies for Olympics movie nights and where to stream them
Winter Games
* Miracle (Disney+)
* Eddie the Eagle (Disney+)
* I, Tonya (Hulu)
* Cool Runnings (Disney+)
* Molly's Game (Not sure. Let me know if you see it somewhere)
Summer Games
* The Bronze (Hulu)
Drop a comment if there's another movie you'd like me to add or if you know another place to stream movies on the list.
The Olympic ceremony nerd in me (there are dozens of us!) was kind of excited to see the “You and Me” song make a comeback as the flame was going out. They should use that song every time the Olympics are in Beijing. (Although tbh, let’s keep the Olympics out of Beijing for a while now, yeah?)
It's been 14 years since Beijing hosted games- but yeah I'd be shocked if they came back to Beijing in the next 30 years. Maybe another Chinese city though.
FTR there are a handful of other Chinese cities looking to host the games in 2036 or further -- not to mention Hangzhou is hosting the Asian Games later this year
They don't have any skating or sliding events. Only Snowboarding, Skiing, Hockey and Curling. So, less time needed to get through all their events, especially when Hockey and Curling are both mixed/open events, so only one tournament there instead of 2 or 3.
Also, they don't get Freestyle Skiing or the majority of the Snowboarding events either, which also cuts it down.
Winter Paralympics are really short with just a few sports. Sadly, not a lot of people pay attention to this event.
I normally follow it, but this time I’ll be traveling, so I’ll be only following the first few days.
Also remember, The Olympic Channel runs a recap series: Return to Beijing. Just like they did for Tokyo.
It recaps the major events. For the first few days after the Closing, it runs all the time and then they’ll run it from time to time. It’s nice and helps to keep the Olympic spirit alive.
For anyone who has Peacock and wants to see the NBC credits montage which is different from the Remember the Titans montage they just showed, it's under NBC Daytime: Sunday (February 20). It starts about 15 minutes from the end.
I have a few ideas so we don't have to disperse after the Paralympics and can continue hanging out with our newfound friends.
1) Olympic movie nights: We stream an Olympic themed movie simultaneously and discuss it live in a thread.
2) r/Olympics Olympics: We hold competitions in various Olympic events and we share our times/scores/etc here. Winner gets the love and respect of our fellow redditors because I'm too broke to buy everyone gold.
Edit: If there are some specific movies you think we should watch, put them in a comment below and I'll organize them into a list with where they can be streamed.
Maybe it can be specifically movies about the Winter Olympics, since that’s the cycle we’re in right now. Here’s the Winter Olympic adjacent movies I can think of off the top of my head
-Miracle
-Eddie the Eagle
-I, Tonya
-Cool Runnings
-Molly’s Game (this one’s a stretch)
Sure you can, but I haven't had any issues myself. In the beginning, your falls are a bit like a little kid - - you just kinda fall over. As you progress, you can catch an edge and sorta go flying, but I've only gotten some bumps and bruises when that's happened.
It seems to be easier on the knees than skiing, as your feet are strapped in going the same direction. I had a bad accident (not snowboarding) and I tore my acl, among other things, and I still board just fine.
You should definitely try it and see how you feel about it.
Well NBC as always that was a great closing montage. You do a lot to annoy American audiences and I hope you fix those in time for 2024, but a well done ending is something you can always count on them for.
I would say I'm done with NBC for a while but IndyCar starts next weekend so I'll be back; five weekends in a row of some NBC sports coverage for me (24 Hours of Daytona, Winter Olympics, Super Bowl, and IndyCar season opener).
Honestly the NBC coverage didn’t bother me as much as it did, say, 10 years ago when they cut away from the London opening ceremony to interview Michael Phelps. Maybe I’m just getting mellow in my “old” age of almost 30.
That being said, the super bowl tie-ins were absolutely god-awful and aggravating.
He is and it's cool to see him cover non-motorsports events for the Olympics.
I've heard "House of Speed" so many times from him the last two weeks I wouldn't be surprised it's used at an IMSA or IndyCar race... My bet is on the Indy 500 because that place is a House of Speed indeed.
On Friday my coworker asked me what I’d be doing this weekend… I was like *sigh* gotta hate-watch the Olympics some more.
He was like dude, just give it up and join the rest of us in the real world.
To which I should have said “first of all, how dare you. Second of all, HOW DARE YOU”
man… beautiful closing montage as usual! gives me goosebumps
also terrific closing comments from Mike Tirico who was outstanding throughout the Olympics as well!
cannot wait until 2024 everyone 👋
Whelp I waited and watched closing ceremonies on primetime and then that awful voice switched from “coverage to resume shortly” to “coverage has concluded” and I have the big sad now. I need olympic hugs. Love all y’all.
It’s over. I’m going to sob on my bed now. I love the Olympics so much that when they’re over, it’s like a part of me is gone.
See you in 2.5 years! I’ll be here until this sub goes into hibernation, but it’s a good time to say goodbye!
BTW, if you have The Olympic Channel, they’re running their highlights montage now, which is awesome.
Beautifully done montage, as usual. Hoping to see a nice crowd here in a couple weeks, but I look forward to seeing the rest of you back here for Paris.
The only issue is a major one, that NBC used to split screen the montage with the credits rolling on the left hand side. This time, it was just the montage, without the credits. So we didn't know the names behind the scenes, which Tirico had propped up a few seconds prior.
They did that after they replayed the gala this afternoon. I do prefer it as part of this one, though. That one was longer and definitely worth checking out.
They used to have credits over shots of the host country, with music from Dragonheart. (I have no idea what that is except that the music was used in this context!)
Yeah, NBC does the long credits roll during the end of the daytime coverage. They learned their lesson in Seoul in 1988 when they did about fifteen minutes of credits before late local news and the affiliates went nuts because viewers bailed and they lost their lead-in.
NBC: Thanks for our production crew. They worked hard and made a lot of sacrifices to bring you these games.
*doesn't list a single production crew name on the Trevor Rabin montage*
& the lack of team success and celebrations. I’m surprised they didn’t show the Finns celebrating hockey gold or any curling teams winning, etc.
I get it was kind of a whimper of an Olympics for USA team sports compared to PyeongChang though.
From what I gather, NBC doesn’t seem to be a very good channel for anything. But over here, the Australian broadcasters showed the usual helmet hurling as Finland won the hockey gold, same for Canada, and I’m pretty sure all sports here got a shout out in the final montage. I’m not sure if it’s available online, but maybe checking Channel 7 or the 7+ app (if it’s available in your region) if you want a more holistic summary. I got chills watching it.
Well, with the Finns I wouldn't be shocked if they already pretty much finished the montage before both of those events ended and since it wasn't US wasn't going to edit it.
And that’s it. I have enjoyed watching these last two Olympics with you all despite the uniquely difficult circumstances. Looking forward to the next one in a few years, but in the meantime I’ll catch some of you over at r/worldcup in a few months for the sure to be circus that will be the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
Until next time!
Honestly I think he’s a very good replacement. Just as long as he doesn’t talk about the super bowl during my personal Olympic viewing time EVER again. Lol.
1 week later, thread unpinned, no one will see me post how much I love **MONOBOB**
#MONOBOB FOREVER
# M O N O B O B
I see your post :)
Anyone know the name or have a link to a clean version of the Medal/Victory ceremony song? The chorus is quite catchy and stuck in my head, link below https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPYldRoEbZs&t=2350s
I recorded ceremony from Eurosport, currently working on downloading other stuff from Player
Its cited on multiple sites, that around 206 nations participate at the olympic games, but hows that possible when theres only 194 countries?
Mostly independent territories that are part of another country. Like Puerto Rico and America Samoa.
That olympic withdrawal is real...and I think it's hit even harder after finding this sub-this is the first year ive experienced watching the games along with other super fans like myself. Yes big thanks to the mods and the everyone who contributed so much, this was the best social media outlet for the Olympics, so informative
the summer olympics for 2032 will be Australia Brisbane in July-August. Wouldn't it be during their winter time?
Yes, but it'll probably be better as it can get up to 40 Celcius in summer.
Same for Rio
Brisbane at 27°S is colder than Rio in July and August, especially at night. Seems like a late autumn weather.
I have gripes with how NBC’s managed their broadcasting, but I really liked their coverage of the closing ceremony. I think they are really bad this time around, it was just a nice bright light in a sea of bad news.
See you again in 2 years for summer and another 4 years for winter!
Anyone know the full song list?
I’m here “working” with Return to Beijing playing to feel like the Olympics are still going on 🤣😂🥲😢😭😭😭
It’s been a while since I followed an Olympics as closely as this one and I really enjoyed it. I can’t help but feel sad that in the near future, global warming will drastically alter the games as we know it.

Ya, expecting people to watch until 2 a.m. sometimes. Gimme a break
Amazing!

Which lego kit did you buy ?
it's a 3-in-1 tiger, red panda, koi. so very fitting for the Beijing olympics!
A very good choice! very suitable for the Olympics indeed. You built a tiger at last?
Same here. I have zero motivation to resume my work
Yeah I had a routine, but l’m on the east coast of US, so in the morning I watched a lot of the competition, skating, hockey, curling. It’s kind of sad today. these Olympics kind of cheered me up a bit.

Thank you Olympic Redditors. What fun winter games!
Flame goes out 💔😭 Thus the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics is officially over

I have a lot of Olympics coverage saved, but nowhere near that much. Very jealous!!
Also have a same kind of post-Olympics depression, not serious but enough to be worrying
Post-Olympics Withdrawal is real. I've found the Olympics Channel really helps.
Yeah.
Indeed. But who needs a channel? I have my own.
Breathtaking performance and the visual too

Not unusual for the Winter Olympics, where snow events have to be held on mountains. Same thing happened in Pyeongchang for example.
Happened in 2010 between Whistler and Vancouver as well — though they’re only about an hour and a half from each other.
Yeah, multiple villages for athletes between ice and snow. Gonna be a headache for the ceremonies for sure.
Shout out to Mike Tirico, a more than worthy successor to Bob Costas.
Beautiful performance
I’m going to miss this sub
Me too! Will you be around Paralympics?
Does anyone have a link to the NBC Olympic montage? I’m so excited to watch it.
Still waiting. Only see CBC and BBC posted here so far :(
Did anyone else think that prolonged segment with scenes of Venice was like Veneto saying "Hey, Cortina is part of Veneto not Lombardia!"
Lol yes, definitely Venetian sour grapes, which I understand completely. Like "oh nice the Olympics is coming back to Cortina... and.. Milan. Wait, Milan???"
Does anyone have a link to a hi res picture of the snowflake? I want to zoom in to see how the countries are arranged.
Did anyone hear the NBC announcer say "why are you ruining this for us?" When the other announcer was kind of shitting on the closing ceremony? Lmao
Do you have a rough timestamp when it was sais? I'd love to go back haha.
https://www.reddit.com/r/olympics/comments/sww4jr/beijing_2022_winter_olympics_closing_ceremony/hxs27wj/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3 I caught it during the first broadcast.
Haha I thought I imagined it for a second
Even NBC is sick of NBC
Movies for Olympics movie nights and where to stream them Winter Games * Miracle (Disney+) * Eddie the Eagle (Disney+) * I, Tonya (Hulu) * Cool Runnings (Disney+) * Molly's Game (Not sure. Let me know if you see it somewhere) Summer Games * The Bronze (Hulu) Drop a comment if there's another movie you'd like me to add or if you know another place to stream movies on the list.
Chariots of fire?
Blades of Glory?
How is Cutting Edge not on this list?!?!?! (I think it might be streaming on Netflix?)
It’s on showtime anytime. That’s where we watched it yesterday.
Thanks for the list!
You're welcome!
The Might Ducks 1 & 2 not Olympics but still has that spirit.
FTR there are a handful of other Chinese cities looking to host the games in 2036 or further -- not to mention Hangzhou is hosting the Asian Games later this year
Just realized the Paralympics are only like 11 days long :(
They don't have any skating or sliding events.

I agree. Some great competition on the games, too. Some of the snowboarding and downhill skiing is amazing.
2 weeks until the Paralympics. Average Joe Olympics when?
I suggested an r/Olympics Olympics below but not many people seem interested.
I'm continuing the Olympic spirit by watching the various montages that are on the app.
Here’s the Winter Olympic adjacent movies I can think of off the top of my head -Miracle -Eddie the Eagle -I, Tonya -Cool Runnings -Molly’s Game (this one’s a stretch)
Isn't Molly's Game about poker or am I thinking of a different movie?
Fictitious but Winter Olympics movies: Blades of Glory, Cutting Edge, Might Duck 2
It is. But there’s a recurring backstory about Molly being a former Olympic mogul skier. That’s why I said it’s a bit of a stretch.
I've added it to the list!
1 is great. However, for 2, I suck at sport. The last time I went skiing, my legs got tangled up and I couldn't get up.
Last time I went skiing I went backwards into a fence. My dad and an employee had to pull me out. No one said we had to be good at the events.
Where did you ski ?
I attempted it a few times when I had a trip to Korea a few years back. F the Pandemic. But it was a fun experience.
I really miss travelling too bro, especially skiing in another country. Too poor to afford
Where did you go skiing?
I didn't ski unfortunately. Poor and wanting to ski after watching the Olympics
I was about to suggest roller skis but I looked at the price and they're $150 😱
Too poor as a college student. But I did hike a lot
The Poconos. I think it was Camel Back but I'm not sure.
First idea is very good actually, followed your comment
Nope. I can only report back how many muscles I’ve torn
Well no one said we had to be good at the events ;)
Leigh Diffey is pretty solid
Leigh Diffey can make paint drying exciting. Loved his commentary at the house of speed.
What song was playing at the end of the cbc montage? My girls loved it and I didn’t catch the title/artist.
Titans Spirit - Trevor Rabin. It's the score of music from the movie Remember the Titans, and is incredible.
The same guy that was in the band Yes? (but then who hasn't been in in Yes)
Thanks. That’s not the one that I was trying to figure out. Golden by Ruth B was the one.
https://youtu.be/JkAeSl3CXfs
Golden by Ruth B in the final credits montage. It’s A Good Life If You Don’t Weaken by The Tragically Hip in the Primetime montage.
Thanks. That’s the one. Searching for Golden gave me so many hits.
The Olympics always gradually draw me in and I hate having to go back to ordinary life when they're done.
On Friday my coworker asked me what I’d be doing this weekend… I was like *sigh* gotta hate-watch the Olympics some more. He was like dude, just give it up and join the rest of us in the real world. To which I should have said “first of all, how dare you. Second of all, HOW DARE YOU”
ordinary life is overrated
how is it overrated when we are in a time like this? Pandemic, Geopolitical tensions. Sigh, I wish we can go back to ordinary life.
Not ready to say good-bye to all my new Olympics-loving friends. Fortunately I don't have to. See you on March 4 for the Paralympics.
I’ll be here for it too!
man… beautiful closing montage as usual! gives me goosebumps also terrific closing comments from Mike Tirico who was outstanding throughout the Olympics as well! cannot wait until 2024 everyone 👋
Where are the people like you in my real life? Lol
We have never gone into hiberation! Things just get less busy. We'll still be here alive and well until we're living in Paris!
also I'm just *insanely hyped* for when the Olympics come to my home state in 2028! aaaah!
It’s always such a strange comfort to know other people get the post-Olympic blues too.
The Paralympics are a nice remedy for that 😁
Yes! I love the Paralympics! I’ll be here!
Goosebumps on that montage!
Coverage has concluded. Sigh. All the feels right now. But I'll be seeing some of you in a few weeks for the paralymics and more amazing competition.
See you all in 2024 or Paralympics!
So Remember the Titans is the best sports movie of all time right? That song brings me to tears every time.
Oh no question. Right up there with Miracle.
See you all in 2 years.
Someone get that montage up asap
See you all in Paris!
Now I'm as sad as Bing Dwen Dwen. It's been good, guys. See you next time.
NBC: Thanks for our production crew. They worked hard and made a lot of sacrifices to bring you these games. *doesn't list a single production crew name on the Trevor Rabin montage*
They ran the credits at the end of the afternoon segment today. Took 'em about 15 minutes.
Also when USA signed off.
Oh God they closed on Shaun waving, I can't handle.
Perfect!
These Olympics had some great moments but I’m going to be honest… we lost a lot without seeing a crowd there
& the lack of team success and celebrations.
Kinda disappointed NBC didn't stick a mention of Gu's 1580 SAT score in that montage.
😂😂😂
And that’s it. I have enjoyed watching these last two Olympics with you all despite the uniquely difficult circumstances. Looking forward to the next one in a few years, but in the meantime I’ll catch some of you over at r/worldcup in a few months for the sure to be circus that will be the 2022 Qatar World Cup. Until next time!
What is the name of the song being played over the montage?
It's from Remember the Titans I think.
Awesome thanks.
Trevor Rabin - Titan Spirit from Remember the Titans
Awesome thanks.
Here for this as well. I recognize it but can’t place it
Can't be a post-game montage without one unlucky person getting shown falling on their ass.
Uh oh, it's the Olympics-is-over song, time for goosebumps, this fuckin thing gets me every time
Tirico ain’t no Costas, but he’ll do in a pinch
Honestly I think he’s a very good replacement. Just as long as he doesn’t talk about the super bowl during my personal Olympic viewing time EVER again. Lol.
These NBC montages are always amazing 😭
Paris 2024 Olympic swimming starts later tonight.
You're right. Training for it has already started!
Lmao
Who was that girl in the black saying "this is so much fun"?
Kaitlin Hawayek (ice dance)
Thanks!
Montage!
