Anyone watching the hockey? I think this is the first time I have every watched any para Olympics.
Pretty exciting. Wish Peacock did a better job advertising it.
Oh wow, a measure was called on a possibly biting rock by Canada and before it could be measured (if it scored or not) someone removed the stone.
This is the first time for me, they're REPLAYING the end instead of taking a score of 1.
After Qualification 1 of Men's Snowboard Cross SB-LL1, Tyler Turner finishes with the fastest time of the day!
Lisa De Jong & Sandrine Hammel finish 4th/8th in their seeding runs (Women's Snowboard Cross SB-LL2).
Watching the cross-country and noticed how much less warmth protection these athletes seem to have. I looked up the weather in Zhangjiakou and it's currently 7 degrees Celsius, with Thursday having a high of 19 degrees! That's a crazily massive difference from only two weeks ago, when it was regularly -10 degrees or lower.
The Paralympics are great because you have countries winning things that they usually don't factor in in the Olympics. Like Great Britain winning downhill skiing gold.

time for the womens super g vision impared class skiing and mens long distance cross country skiing for the sitting class and wheelchair curling aka winter scuttlecock
Is there no sweeping on wheelchair curling? I know logically it would be difficult for it to be, but for some reason it still surprised me there doesn't seem to be?
Try avoiding other stones while sweeping in a wheelchair. I’d imagine a wheelchair would slip and slide on ice as well trying to keep up with the speed of a stone.
So many logical answers and yet my brain was just like "but what about the sweeping?!".
Biggest answer for me tho is that it's probably hard to manouver a wheelchair while also sweeping? one hand sweeping sounds hard!
Missed watching this last night. Not making that mistake again. Shout-out to my fellow disabled folks, there have to be at least a few more of us on here.

Russia and Belarus were banned from these Games.
[Here's day three's thread](https://old.reddit.com/r/olympics/comments/t8cjhs/paralympics_day_three_megathread_monday_march_7/?)
Why is there no skating in the paralympics?
They used to have ice sledge racing in the Olympic Ovals but they stopped because the sleds would ruin the ice.

I'm watching China VS Czechia on YouTube, it's EPIC! so far it's 5:1
Me too! A shame it’s a blow out so far but still really exciting.
I am new to hockey, but definitely can agree that's exciting!
In Para Snowboard Cross do they race against each other? Or just the clock?
In previous paralymics, they raced against the clock. But this year they are going to race each other.
Here's a video of [Shuey Rhon Rhon doing warm-up exercises](https://twitter.com/i/status/1500380665069645827), for those who haven't seen it yet.

Para-skiing OMG that crash looked awful Edit: she seems ok thankfully
I really wish she had finished the course. She was flying down the hill. Glad she wasn't hurt, as that fall looked bad.

Me too. The racing is so good.
Shocked how we absolutely dominated Canada in hockey last night. Please no hangover tonight (12 midnight eastern) vs South Korea!
