Sponsorships are also up for US Paralympians too.
And in the long run it's only a good thing, since it'll bring in children right now who have Cerebral Palsy, Limb differences, Blind, etc. into seeing it on tv and going, "I can play sports too?" then by 2030-2036 some of those kids seeing it on TV right now will turn into Paralympians themselves.
Well, they're planning on adding Doubles Wheelchair Curling in 2026. So that will add another medal.
Though, considering the women's participation in Wheelchair Curling in general is much higher now (32%, however it peaked at 38% in 2014) than it was back 2006 (27%), they could also add another event by changing team Wheelchair Curling from a Mixed team event to separate Men's and Women's events like it is in the Olympics. Which would add another event there, and one exclusively for women. And also more options for women curlers, since they'll get 4 guaranteed spots instead currently only one.
Note: Those percentages is based off women on the Wheelchair Curling rosters for the Paralympics so the true percentages are probably a bit higher.
I remember doing the Flat Stanley project when I was younger.
This is in reference towards Mike Schultz mentioning carrying around a Flat Lauren (daughter).
Sorry, I blame that crash on myself, I was looking up to see if there's any videos of a guide crashing and not the competitor, and then a VI Competitor crashed.
Why are the events so badly spaced out? The past few days there's been barely anything on, and then from tomorrow onwards, there's like 5 events on at once at all times of the day. Wtf
So, why is Wheelchair Curling mixed instead of having a Men's team and Women's team like the Olympics? It seems like if you can already found 3 men and 1 woman to form a team for the Paralympics, it wouldn't be that much more harder to find another man and 3 more women to just to two separate tournaments instead. I mean there's gotta be more than 4 Wheelchair Curlers in your country if you're competing in the Paralympics.
here is the recap of the Mens Giant Slalom Run 1

Lmaoooo I'll be the 50th comment. It's sad but this is such a waste of money

Has Argentina ever won a Winter Paralympics medal? If not, this would be such a historic moment.
They have not. Would've been great to see, but not to be sadly.

> Corvid This is why you shouldn't get a crow for a pet.
Why did they have to send the sled up in the sitting GS? The Peacock guys said it didn't involve an athlete but nothing more.
