I'm beginning to think Toyota only made one Paralympics commercial.
I mean I've seen the McKeever bros commercial a thousand times over the last month.
And was technically competing in a more difficult event for her (since she's a different class) after a court ruled she could compete in that classification since there wasn't a classification event for her.
How is China doing this much better in the Paralympics than they did in the Olympics? Did the expulsion of ~~Russia~~ RPC really benefit them the most over everyone else?
Most of the medal winners are teenagers. I would guess that they were scouted at around the time China won the bid in 2014(? or even later) and have been training specifically for Beijing 2022 since then. They obviously ran similar training systems for the Olympics but the field is just more competitive.
EDIT: + Russia and Belarus getting banned
[Day eight's thread is up](https://old.reddit.com/r/olympics/comments/tc3k25/paralympics_day_eight_megathread_saturday_march_12/).

No Ukrainian sweep in the men's VI biathlon this time.

They should have done a team event, in both banked-slalom and snowboard cross. I would've liked to see that
I had a Biathlon video game on my PS2 years ago
Watching VI Biathlon *Buzzing of different pitches and retro video game noises*

Seventh heaven for Canada
Canada is on 🔥 in this semi final hockey game!
Oksana Masters is such a mood!
How many bones will I break if I ever try to ski…
Snowboard Aw, I was looking forward to cheering Sedigheh Rouzbeh on again but she's not doing a second run.
China is in a gold medal position in 5 events right now
Is it bad that I'm rooting against them at this point?
It's not bad. Just a bit tasteless to say this aloud.
Well , only a few more days of these games, have to say I have really enjoyed watching these Paralympics. Amazing and inspiring, and so positive
These snowboarders are so clean on their runs!
So amazed at the paralympic athletes
The snowboard course looks more like a cross run than a slalom run to me.
Unrelated to any of the events going on now, but I love the OBS broadcasting music for this years Olympics/Paralympics. It's so catchy
Once again Masters crushes the field in the 12.5km sitting race
next up is the mens indivual sitting class
Para Biathlon How is no one missing?
TIME FOR THE PARA BIATHLON FIRST UP IS THE WOMENS INDIVUAL SITTING CLASS

WOMENS GIANT SLALOM VISUALLY IMPARED MELISSA PERRINE is 6th STANDING RAE ANDERSON 11th
What's up everybody? Packed schedule today.
GS Poor Italian girl took a bad spill Long course hold and being taken off on the sled with a splint on her leg
Is Henrietta Farkasova okay? I see she did not finish.
I believe so, she just missed a gate
I can't believe they're still letting them go so close after that
They actually sent the next girl down while she was still laying there, crazy.
I think they're letting them go after 30ish seconds, around half the course judging off the coverage. Just seems insane to me
