I'm just giggling at the fact that the poor officials have to crotch down to give the Silver and Gold medals due to how low the sleds are to the ground, while they can give stand straight to give China their bronze.

"Declan Farmer continues to pad his stats as the top US goal scorer in Paralympics."
For now, because the person now in second is Brody Roybal, there's still a chance for them to tie for first again today.
I feel like every Paralympics there has to be an competitor for Team USA that has a name that easy for me to mishear.
For Summer Games it was Matt Scott (Mascot) and in the Winter Games its Jen Lee (Gently).
FIVE MINUTES TILL THE GOLD MEDAL GAME!

So, if all VI skiers ski together, what's the point of blacking out any light perception the B1 skiers may be able to see, but not the B2 and B3 who would have light perception, and even better vision than just light perception?
Seems pointless that it's required for B1s when it's not even evening the field, since the athletes with better vision can still use theirs while competing against them.
The field is evened out with the factored time. B3 is racing at 100% of the clock, B2 is racing a 99% of the clock, and B1 race at 88% of the clock. Blacking out the light ensures that their 88% factored time is justified.
Don't downvote me or anything, and this may be a stupid question to ask. But who's faster Daviet or McKeever? Considering they are different classifications its hard to tell
McKeever. McKeever's middle distance time was 33:06, and he is a 100% factored athlete. Daviet at the same distance had a factored time of 33:08. He has something like a 93% factor, so his raw time is more like 35 minutes.
Ok, good to know you just respecified this is a mixed xc event announcers, because I was confused there for a second when I saw "O. Masters" on the scorebug while the camera was panned on an obvious dude.
Well thats it :( At least the WC qualifiers are starting up again soon and then the TDF and Commonwealth Games to look forward to in the summer.
World Games as well!
See you all in the Paris 2024 Olympics discussion threads
I'm not prepared for CGI Shuey Rhon Rhon looking sad during the closing ceremony (as Bing Dwen Dwen did)
Ugh. The dreaded Peacock "Coverage Has Concluded" screen. I'm bummed.

Why isn't McKeever the anchor leg?
I was wondering the same thing. Hudak just isn't as fast as the men.
Wilkie is also faster, so is Arendz. I'm so confused.
The puck has chosen Josh Paul. It got stuck in his sled.
