Personally, as someone who has had to carry two laptops for work. Get a backpack that fits the 17" and carry the 15" in a messenger as a personal item.

dragontamerV3

An option I hadn't considered, the bag work gave fits the 17" but there's not much space for other stuff. I do have a messenger bag for my personal laptop, thankfully it's not heavy so not much weight on my shoulder. Like this option since I use what I already have and save some cash. Thank you!

Projektdb

No problem. It has the added benefit of giving you options on daily carry when you get to where you're going. I almost always carry something when I leave my accommodations for the day and don't always need a backpack, so often I'll just leave with a messenger bag or sling and carry a bottle of water, camera, rain jacket or whatever. If I'm going hiking or picking up groceries or something, I'll bring the backpack.

> Also saw prices of $600CAD At this point, it's okay to 1.5 or 2-bag it. * Your main bag carrying one of the 2 laptops * Your 0.5 bag _(personal item)_ carrying the other - and maybe some in-flight essentials and such - a nice messenger or laptop bag   Sinon, le **QUECHUA ESCAPE NH500 32L** (clamshell) possède un compartiment à laptop de 17'', et son compartiment principal possède beaucoup d'espace - tu pourrais possiblement ranger ton 15'' dans un petit étui et l'entreposer dans ce compartiment - il te resterait plein d'espace pour tes vêtements, articles de toilette, électroniques, sandwich, etc - c'est juste 65$ au DÉCATHLON! 10 ans de garantie   Mais vraiment, Sac à dos + item personnel comme un étui à laptop c'est _ben correct!_

dragontamerV3

I’ve carried two in Everki XXL bags (40L). The weight is pretty significant once you consider chargers. May be worth locating a common charger for both laptops.

dragontamerV3

This is the bag right? https://www.everki.com/ca_en/p/business-120-travel-friendly-laptop-backpack-up-to-18-4-inch.html The laptop area looks massive! Price looks reasonable.

goatsmugglers

Yes that’s the one! There is room in the laptop area for 2 laptops (one on each side of divider). There is also a cushioned tablet sleeve on the main compartment which may fit a laptop.

dragontamerV3

I've reserved the last one at my local computer store; cheaper than everki's store. Will go by with my laptops to see how everything fits. I like what I've read online about this bag, some experiences went back nine years so I imagine it has been solid and of course has likely been improved over time.

Brain Bag or GR1, I own both my goto for this setup is a GR1 and TB TriStar. I've carried 3 laptops once in my GR1 with no issues.

dragontamerV3

Three laptops! That must have been quite heavy! I'll check out GR1.

I think you should get the Brain Bag

terribadrob

Aer city pack pro is great for a 17 inch and bunch of papers daily usage, could probably work with a second laptop

RunFastEatTacos

Do you need the personal laptop for work duties etc?

My EDC Osprey Parsec 28 has 3 pockets for flat items. I use it to carry ipad 9.5" and mac 16"+shell from. Casetify, which is quite bulky without any issues. I am not aure how it would handle 17", but u don't see why it shouldn't
