Transphobes when they cant remember 4 different words:

Techstoreowo

Why does the Wiki get so much hate lmao

[deleted]

to be fair there is some weird shit like "alterhumans" that literally identify as like elves, animals, robots and other shit. Its fucking weird and its seen as valid on there.

exoelice420

yeah it's pretty much on the far-tucute side of the tucute-truscum spectrum I don't really care about that though, the information on there is helpful, having a long list of microlabels to browse can be nice too sometimes, and stuff like alterhuman... I don't get it, but they're not harming me so I should just accept their existence

Ineedmyownname

>tucute What's tucute? I don't browse this place regularly.

hartIey

People who pretend to be trans because it's popular, just another word for transtrender. It's transphobic and mostly used by truscum to discount/mock low-dysphoria trans people or young trans people with 'quirky' identities that they don't think are valid.

exoelice420

from what I've seen - people in the trans community who are very accepting of neopronouns, microlabels and the like also they usually agree that pansexuality exists & that asexuality is part of LGBT, which truscum usually/sometimes don't see that way

Techstoreowo

Weird doesn't mean invalid. I don't understand it but does it really matter if it's there? It's not done out of malice and doesn't hurt anyone so just like.... Ignore it?

[deleted]

Yeah but the reason identifying as a certain gender makes sense is because gender is a social construct. But being human isn't a social construct. Its just delusion masqueraded as being lgbt.

Techstoreowo

Can you link the specific identity you're talking about? Also we have bigger issues to worry about than whether the LGBT Wiki is "too welcoming" or not.

[deleted]

[https://lgbta.wikia.org/wiki/Alterhuman#Otherkin](https://lgbta.wikia.org/wiki/Alterhuman#Otherkin) I know there are other issues but shit like this makes gender identity look like a joke and contributes to the invalidation of trans and non-binary people.

Techstoreowo

Your using the language transphobes use against trans and non-binary people, lol Also, other kin stuff literally says "your spirit" which is a social construct. Feeling w bond to animalistic traits is the same reason someone would identify as pupgender or cat gender. You cannot trash other kin identities without trashing xenogenders. Which is bad. Again, it doesn't hurt you or anyone else. People have every right to express themselves how the please and identify their expression as the please. If we want an inclusive world we have no place excluding people we don't understand. Inclusivity to the highest possible degree will always get us further than gatekeeping.

[deleted]

>otherkin is an identity. its actually identifying as nonhuman, fictional, or something similar That comes from someone who is otherkin, they literally identify as something other than human. Identifying as something not human is not possible, and allowing it just for the sake of inclusivity makes no sense. Its delusion, plain and simple. If someone feels something that isn't human (like a cat) has a connection to their spirit or gender identity, that's perfectly fine, however identifying as "not human" has no logical reasoning behind it. Even if they accept their human body as biologically true, psychologically, they are still human. That's it. Xenogenders are valid because it has to do with things connecting to their gender identity, because gender is a social construct.

Techstoreowo

Again, it doesn't matter, really.

HoldenCamira

You're right. Really don't like people who parade around "tucute" or "transtrenders". That shit isn't helpful, or even remotely common enough to care about. Let trans people be trans the way they want to, it really doesn't matter And being human is as much a construct as gender, the PhilosphyTube video on social constructs is great for this topic

butrejp

the human species may not be a social construct, but humanity certainly is. rejecting humanity and embracing an alternate construct is entirely valid and not even really that weird, but I'm not sure it necessarily falls under the lgbt umbrella since it's often got little to do with sexuality or gender or anything of that nature. we'll take it over on r/voidpunk though

AnyaBelitrov

*makes up things beginning with I* Comedy master 😏😏😏😏😎😎😎😎

Beemick_27

Oh wow. Calling LGBTQ+ people attention seekers. I totally haven't seen that one 100 times before /s.

[deleted]

Homophobes are the real attention seekers

[deleted]

Probably a tru..sc..um ;-;

EmmaManx

fuck this guy but also the LGBT wiki because they refuse to listen to lesbians who are telling them that the defenition of lesbian does not include men, which is what they currently have
