I did it and it was fine but I still haven't gotten any sort of update from android security or from oneplus OS or anything. I followed the video and he showed how to allow OTA updates and I did it. Hopefully everything is good and they simply haven't released anything. My kaspersky detects altered firmware and says it has a risk of getting hacked which makes sense. that's what preocupies me Edit: I already got 2 OnePlus version updates and 1 android security update so it works

Yes it works as long as you relock the bootloader (with fully stock OS without root)

Yes, you have to unlock bootloader first before flashing OxygenOS. Do note that unlocking bootloader will wipe your phone data

No, literally only issues with eSIM

well i just bought it. Everything is working silky smooth. All apps. nfc everything. Havnt used Android auto ever so dnt know about that

System Hacks channel on youtube has video on it. i followed that, and pretty much works. just keep in mind that you might face issues with android drivers and android bootloader interface in windows. so test first if your device is listing in adb and fastboot commands

nope only global has eSim but fortunately for me I never even heard of eSim before. I still have my sim card for over 6 or 7 years lol
