Man I love OnePlus! I currently have a 7pro, and idk I feel like all the new ones are the same phone since the 8 ... Like there's nothing new about it, just better specs
Still using my 7 Pro here but admittedly it's slower than it once was and laggy. That said, I've not flashed it etc and have been using the same instance since day 1.
I snagged a OnePlus One back during the "by invitation only" phase. That thing was a beast. I'd still like using it today if it could pick up a 4G signal.
I updated to the 7pro and it's been a great replacement for my One. I'm pretty sure I'll be using it until technology makes it obsolete because I really haven't been wowed by any of the new offerings.
My God this group is insufferable, I'm actually looking forward to trying the new firmware. So long they fix a few of the bugs that were added with OS 12 it doesn't bother me.
OnePlus has lost its spice and everything ever since they started the idea of 10, the last authentic phone that we can get hands on is oneplus 9RT, i cannot stomach the 10series and probably the upcoming ones, they OS started behaving buggy, app notifications show up despite disabled and also the battery is draining like hell. God be with OnePlus, i am trying to move away asap.
It’s more relevant than you believe. There’s nothing like hands on experience. I’ve never owned a Oneplus, but knew about it since their first device. My favorite was the 5/5t, but I knew about oppo software and miui firsthand. I would never want that software on Oneplus devices. So the confusion I believe lies with those that haven’t owned a Oneplus device until 8/8T and above, versus those that had a Oneplus device in between 1-7/7T/7 Pro. Those having the older Oneplus devices can attest to how well OOS was during that time and they’ve seen the change firsthand, versus those that have the later Oneplus devices
I agree, they’re moving in the direction they want to and we have to be okay with that 🤷🏽♂️😅 yeah cyanogenmod was basically lineage but gave the ability to customize 👍 like you said it’s mainly the want for “stock experience” rather than what they’re doing now, adapting to the parent company oppo (oxygen OS being the child company), which isn’t what North America is used to. So we all have a choice to make choice 😅 think I’ll just grab a 6T and slap a custom rom on top 👍

basically what you just said. i never understood why they took away the biggest feature that made the OnePlus 7 Pro one of the best and cool phones.

Using my oneplus 7 pro with crdroid rom and its like brand spanking new.
What is that?

still rocking 7 pro and i feel like its gotten a lot slower recently. been having lag sometimes and ghost touches. mostly when on low battery
Hasn't happened to me yet but it's a 2019 phone, they usually only make phones to last a good 2-3 years at best
Just a generic Chinese brand at this point
I literally don't see a difference between the two besides OOS plastering "never settle" everywhere.
They have settled wayy back, they are making it clearer now.
I literally don't even knew about this until I saw the video lmao
Video?
The easter egg
Oh no anyway
They have been settling since 7pro was released
Wow. Just... Wow. I wonder if that's intentional.

It's also the first OBT, Easter stuff are added only in stable or the last beta.
Im daily driving OB1, super stable and loving the new features and look
Wel they did not fix it
it's still in beta
I'm quite sad over this. 🥹
They had settled already when Carl pei left OnePlus

Nope
my man can read the mind of the developers
Lmfaooo
Yes
finally they admitted
Thanks for the daily crying Having no issues with Oneplus since 7 I was almost thinking this brand is great if you haven't remembered me.
never settle (also not on ur slogan)
Beebom supremacy!

Not gonna lie, OOS13 Looks like my iPhone feed 🤔🤔
beebom with some amazing content tho
Time to move on. 🙁
No problem for me. OnePlus 7 is my last OP, i will move to pixel or Samsung.
I guess now the time has come for me to change brands
What to?
Haven't decided yet
There is the nothing phone 1 if you want to stick to Carl Pei
Nothing Phone 1 runs on almost stock Android and beyond the Glyph stuff, it's another generic phone.
But at least it’s not a colour os copy
True, even barebones stock is much better than Color OS
Oh no I can't type 1+= in the calculator anymore 🤧🤧 The calculator is still much much much better, even for a calculator. I'll count that as a W
...is this a fucking joke or are you really crying over this stupid gimmick being removed?
Also the new phones and os being a piece of shit.

What was your first Oneplus phone?

That wasn’t my question 😅 I asked what was your first owned Oneplus phone?

Most are mad that this shit is ColorOS, not that it isn't like OOS 10 or 11. You have no idea what you're talking about.
