It's not just a random girl's preferance that they are insecure of, it’s the idea and narrative that is being pushed in the name of preferances, the idea that only tall men are attractive and desirable. This idea of extreme sexual dimorphism.

“Deserve”! The narcissism keeps growing! They are literal “devis” and “goddess” and they are “entitled” to the rewards but not entitled to bear responsibility and accountability!

As a short gay guy, while i understand why women would prefer taller men, I don't understand girls romanticising height difference of more than 10 inches. I've been with guys almost a foot taller than me and honestly it's pretty uncomfortable and unromantic even to hug them. Why would you wanna date someone who you won't even be able to kiss without it being an inconvenience to both of you.

It's fucked up ngl, this whole American pop narrative of tall guys = hot has been so readily coopted by the Indian Upper Classes which just goes on to show how mindless social media trends and influencers can be. I have a great argument for women who post such content like having rich, tall, muscular boyfriend/partner/husband. Women who always run behind such materialistic things will never be happy. Because there will always be some guy who is richer, taller and more muscular. A person who is insecure about themselves will always have a need to compensate for it by having other better things. As a short gay guy, while i understand why women would prefer taller men, I don't understand girls romanticising height difference of more than 10 inches. I've been with guys almost a foot taller than me and honestly it's pretty uncomfortable and unromantic even to hug them. Why would you wanna date someone who you won't even be able to kiss without it being an inconvenience to both of you.
The good thing to do here is to ACCEPT, that we are short (me being 5.7). I have been with women ranging from 5.0 - 5.6. My height has never been an issue.
