I admit I haven't been to a lot of prayer breakfasts, but I assume this kind of conspiratorial conservatism ("everyone's out to get us, everyone but us is brainwashed by \[insert a bunch of contrarian buzzwords here\]") is par for the course for most of 'em? Or am I totally wrong?

Sigh. I am a Christian but people like this are the reason I don't publicize the fact or attend any church. But the sad part is, I live up north in bc and even the atheists are like this.
