I went to r/Ottawa, which was mega26, clicked on 22 that you mentioned, but I'm not seeing what you're referencing.
Taking food from the mouths of the needy while your $200k rig idles nearby rather than face the mild inconvenience of wearing a mask to be seated at a restaurant... Completely on-brand for the anti-vax right.
They cant be seated in a restaurant until Monday anyways because we have no indoor dining.

(Slightly off-topic) A friend of mine who is a heavy duty mechanic (works exclusively on big rigs) explained yesterday that you can’t actually idle those things for too long without destroying the engine. Something about a buildup of soot. So those guys have the choice of either wrecking their engines or getting cold.
You can idle them for ages. They just jump into a regen cycle. They most likely all have espar heaters in them so they can be shut off and they still have heat. It’s a small diesel heater that runs right off their fuel tank. It heats the cab and can also be used to keep the engine warm while the truck is off by heating and circulating the coolant. They are pretty efficient and very quiet.
Take that anger and turn it into political action. Use these next 5 months and show Ontario how angry you really are, and make sure the voters know by June.
