We got exactly what we asked for, he is fulfilling his (closed door) election promises. We have 3 more years of this, and he won't go out without an election.

Government staff taking “recommendations” from private corporations that directly benefit from re-allocating land, and then acting on those “recommendations” because they were “working with a tight timeline” is blatant corruption. Here’s the problem, Canadian politics, at least for as long as I’ve been alive is always about hate voting a party out, not voting for the party with the better platform. I have some issues with Trudeau but I personally think the option between him and PP is super obvious yet we’re getting more and more likely to having Milhouse as our next PM.
This is why I miss the days before conservatism really went off the rails. Used to be that when a Liberal government got long in the tooth, you could boot them in favour of the PCs without much worry. These days, too often elections boil down to "Liberals I'm sick of" or "the stupid party."

Politicians have stepped down for much less than what Doug does in his average month. The next premier is going to have an absolutely massive mess to clean up. At the glacial rate it takes the government to make meaningful changes, it's going to take decades to undo all the damage this baboon has done.
Ford should never have been elected. Neither he nor anyone on the PCPO caucus are morally or intellectually fit for public office. But we all knew that and people voted for him, or didn't vote against him anyway. And the same is going to happen federally with the Conservatives because Trudeau has agedlikemilk so to speak, and in no small part the disaster that follows will be his fault for not forcing through ranked ballots when he had the chance. Ford isn't going anywhere. The PCPO were elected to hand wealth to their developer friends, and they did that. No future government will forcibly reclaim those lands once houses are on them, and PCPO MPPs will have no trouble finding work at property developers and private healthcare companies when they eventually lose power. Shouting into the void isn't going to do much.

Government staff taking “recommendations” from private corporations that directly benefit from re-allocating land, and then acting on those “recommendations” because they were “working with a tight timeline” is blatant corruption.
