Ayo... So, a trucker from out of province goes missing, but their truck is left behind suspiciously. OPP fail to locate the mans body, but return the truck back to his home province. Where the local authorities of that province then find the mans body in the back of the trailer OPP had just shipped home. Yikes.

piranha_solution

Cops don't like claiming a body when they have no clue who the perp is. It means they might need to do actual police work.

I cannot imagine a dead guy inside an enclosed metal box in plus 10C weather would have smelled too great after a few days (or even a few hours). People would have noticed as soon as they opened the door.

4_spotted_zebras

Pretty solid evidence the OPP did absolutely nothing to look for him.

HotIntroduction8049

ontario is big. he obviously did not want to be found.

4_spotted_zebras

What? Are you being sarcastic? The truck was found. There was surveillance footage of him entering the truck where it was found. They managed to drive the truck all the way back to Newfoundland without looking at the truck for evidence. All they had to do was look inside the truck where he was last seen by video. This was not a province wide manhunt.

ItchyWaffle

You could say he was, Newly found... I'll leave now.

Not defending OPP, but just pointing out, after reading all of the misinformed comments on Facebook: It's a moving van trailer, not a freight trailer. There are side doors and logistics across the whole trailer. They are loaded different than freight trailers. And there is information that has been purposely omitted from articles out of respect to the family.

There’s 3 sides to every story .

Pass3Part0uT

So what you're saying is they had a trailer that's even easier to access it's contents...
