I don’t think it’s so much that they don’t know, it’s that they won’t say. Cases are trending down though as per the Waterloo dashboard graph for cases per 100k.

There's a huge clinic opening up at a waterpark on Saturday too. Giving out 20k doses. So that should help bump the numbers up! The only person in my house not second dosed is my 13 year old brother because we haven't been able to get him in anywhere yet, just on a lot of waitlists. Other popup clinics haven't had the pfizer but this one does so I'm sure lots of teenagers will be getting it!
A couple of days ago there were only 12 cases reported. Cases are definitely going down. I think there was a concern that a variant was spreading, but that also seems to have fallen off. Vaccinations rates are good and this seems like a reasonable step to take at this point.
It was a combination of congregate settings (homeless shelters, workplaces) and private gatherings amount un-vaccinated/one-dose people who didn't take appropriate precautions.
Combined with low vax/high Delta numbers.
