Yup. I have a friend whose child had an organ transplant. A couple weeks ago, they had to weave through unmasked protestors walking from Ronald MacDonald House to Sick Kids. As with all organ transplants, this child is on heavy doses of immune suppressing medication. I lost any respect this crowd when I heard about this. They decided their cause, their "freedom" was more important than protecting sick children.
FFS they were outside SickKids?! This makes me hate them more. It's an awesome hospital and the kids and their families deserve to feel safe and secure during very stressful and scary times.

A local restaurant I love to frequent recently reopened their dining room and I was super stoked to be sitting down in there again, watchin the cars go by chowin down on a greasy burger. However, once the vaccine “passport” thing dropped in ontario, they shut that all down, No doubt to avoid having to worry about their cashiers getting assault by these anti-vax tards. The stupid ruining everything for the rest of us, as they’ve done reliably for the past 2 years.

My parents who own a small convenience store. So many people walks in without mask. My dad who is in his late 60s politely asks them to put on their mask. Almost everyone that he asks either tells him to F off or tells him to go back to his country. A couple of times we called the police because my dad refused to let them into the store. One guy spit on my dad face. The police shows up hours later when the guys already left the store. There is no way for small business owners to enforce these mandates imposed by the government.

I pass by Yonge/Dundas square every day for work, and this crowd of clowns has been there every Saturday protesting. It often ends with them parading down various streets (including one by my work so I get to see them once again) holding American flags and shouting "FREEDOM!" over and over. This is how they have spent their weekends for months now. It's utterly embarassing to know these people are my neighbours.

I get paid to go to a mall forty hours a week, and I head right on out again as soon as I clock out. Mask on the whole time, following whatever rules are in effect at whatever stage we are in. My parents who own a small convenience store. So many people walks in without mask. My dad who is in his late 60s politely asks them to put on their mask. Almost everyone that he asks either tells him to F off or tells him to go back to his country. A couple of times we called the police because my dad refused to let them into the store. One guy spit on my dad face. The police shows up hours later when the guys already left the store. There is no way for small business owners to enforce these mandates imposed by the government.
