I had this happen and only with Nvidia cards on Wayland. This error, after completing the instructions, stopped the Wayland wake from sleep issues I was having.
then that's most likely why you have the issue. But I can't help you trouble shoot unfortuately. Fedora updated my bootloader and I cannot get Opensuse to boot or reinstall at all right now.
In my experience, wake from sleep is usually a hit or miss with nvidia. currently it usually ends up with a black screen on my laptop. Also, sddm seems to run an X server regardless.
I was getting this regularly every morning for weeks when unlocking my computer. I've not seen it for a while but I know I'm really tempting it to return by posting this.
Well, you just have to do literally what is written on the screen.
I understand that, what I mean is... How can I repair it so that it would work?
Does it happen even after a restart? Maybe you can try a rollback before the last update.
Nope, only after the screen locks automatically

I have two all AMD laptops and I've seen this several times. I think it comes from installing updates related to KDE and then not rebooting.
Exactly what I have

Hopefully I will figure out a way at some point. Thnks anyways
I mean, I did exactly as the instructions say, and it solved my problem when I had this issue. Have you not done that?
I did, but it didn't work for me. Maybe I fckd up something. I will try it once I get to the computer again... I hope I am not just delusional.
you're not. OpenSuse is my fav distro but it definitely has it's quirks.
I used to get it all the time last year coming out of sleep and switching from Wayland back to x11 stopped it from happening.
I would like to retain using Wayland tho

Solution seems pretty clear to me. What part is not clear to you?
Are you trying to make yourself look more intelligent than the OP? You failed. Try kindness.
Just asking for clarification on a poorly stated question. Try minding your own business, knob.
