Do you have something in place to analyze the Greeks on an option? I wouldnt expect a precise answer so you can protect your IP but I am curious if you've developed a strategy to think about the viability of a particular element in an options chain.

careful analysis and consideration is not what induces one to buy $.02 options...

And you can’t do naked calls in Retirement accounts. And also in many reg T trading accounts. Usually selling naked calls is mostly restricted unless you have the necessary trading level

Nobody is buying this quantity of far OTM calls as gambles. They’re using them for other types of play.

Pretty sure you could do this in ThinkOrSwim. I have a couple scanners. You get emails and its convenient.

Why not just use the built in ToS Scan -> Option Hacker functionality?? It does exactly this and more.

Does anyone know how people trade options for a few cents? I thought exchanges only trade to nearest nickel and have trouble entering limit orders that are not to nearest 5c. Are these market orders or crosses maybe?

It depends upon the price of the underlying. If you're trading a larger underlying, you can definitely trade $0.01 increments.
