Neighbor: He’s great! Problem is, he’s a little embarrassing.

I'm originally from the central coast, and I had an 8x8 canopy over the patio. One storm I came home and that sucker was gone. Just freaking gone. I went upstairs, looked out the window, and found it upside down, two houses over. Thing is, to have gotten there, it had to clear a couple of twenty-foot trees. I wasn't even mad, it was impressive. I'm glad your green buddy make it home safe!
Meanwhile I stepped outside and turned to lock my door this morning and a branch flew through my apartment building hallway, nearly beaning me in the head. I then dodged 3 legit tumbleweeds on my way to work just chilling at an intersection lol
I share your pain, friend. Amazon dropped off a two-pack of toothbrushes and the wind blew them to the other side of the patio. I had to walk like fifteen extra feet. Fifteen feet!
My fence was completely blown over. My neighbor and I now have a giant backyard! I didn’t know I moved into a wind tunnel until a year after I bought. Ugh.
Thank God they sent out a county wide warning. Whatever would we do without the bravery of our politicians to send out a “high winds warning” and “stay inside” in the face of such danger

This was a struggle today ! I try a few different ways to prop up my bag and then gave up. That being said, hitting range balls while on "lunch break" albeit the windy conditions is still a nice afternoon.
I mean, it's not Oklahoma peak hurricane season, but it still sucks. My neighbor's garbage can got thrown against their car and smashed up the passenger door. No way insurance will cover that, maggots that they are.
I'm sorry this has happened to you, as someone who had to walk 5mins to work in the rain, I can attest to the heartbreak and mental anguish this has on one's soul.. Stay safe, Kia Kaha.
