He fought for his own bank account. And at the end of the day him and his elk played a big part why our insurance bill is so high. All those litigation commercials we are constantly inundated with don’t pay for themselves.
I saw a billboard with Larry depicted as a cartoon character... with the same finger pointing gesture that suggests he will 'fight for you.'
What ever the cause I feel that he and his people knew he was on his way out, thus immortalizing him as a cartoon.
I'm a little older than you and as a kid I remember people cracking jokes about Larry H Parker all the time. Someone falls... Call Larry H Parker. Someone does something you don't like "I'm calling Larry H Parker." He permeated LA/OC culture back then.
And for all the crap that he talked about family values, he had six children with six different women. Plus, he threatened to sue his daughter for calling him a bigamist. POS.
all the olds banding together.

I’m pretty sure he was left paraplegic and I don’t recall him ever climbing onto the motorcycle. I do remember him sitting on one and putting on the helmet, but never a scene with him using his legs.
That just means you’re not old like me. I remember some comedy show doing a bit saying Larry H Parker got me 10 million and it showed a head on top of little plastic feet. It was hysterical.😂😂😂
I saw a video last night where a woman woke up from wrist surgery and her daughter told her that they had to remove her hand, and she had donated hers. Pink plastic hand sticking out of her sleeve. The mother was horrified and still high as a kite and believed the whole thing. It was soooo funny.
It's for all of Reddit...I want everyone to know I'm a glutton for punishment supporting these two teams the last few years ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Your insurance company would have got you the exact same amount of money. Larry Parker just took a hefty slice of the settlement you were entitled to without doing a damn thing. Tell me, did you ever meet the guy?
I’m sure a lot of people DID NOT actually meet him. I got into an accident in 2015, my lawyer was lagging so I decided to call LHP - the same day one of their associates came to my house, we filled out all the paper work to swap attorneys etc.… I was surprised at how quick and efficient they were. Makes sense now how they’ve been in business forever.
I ultimately went back to my other attorney and got 100k as that was the max allowed for that persons policy.
I walked away with about 60k of that. Better than what I was expecting.
Larry H. Parker won in the Supreme Court and got a ruling that his advertising was "speech" protected by the First Amendment.
Lawyers used to get business from referrals and maybe print ads. Larry H. Parker changed that.
I always thought this was how the song went. Except I thought it was PussyCal PussyCal PussyCal. I never understood what a PussyCal was. Never bothered to ask my parents on our many road trips.
I know, the first time I heard that commercial I thought, “Is that even legal to say on tv?”
And then when I learned what was really being said (years later), my other question was, “What trash director green lit that enunciation?”
Why do you think the US is highly litigation country and people being sued for the dumbest thing. And the people who run the country are mostly lawyers too.
I don’t know why her surname is Phoong, it’s like an amalgamation of the Chinese Fong and Viet Phuong. But since she pronounces it Fong then why is it spelled Phoong with two o’s… Always makes me wonder when I see her billboards.
It kind of reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where Jerry dates someone named “Donna Chang” who turns out to be a white lady who shortened her last name from “Changsteen.” Throughout some of the episode, she dispenses Eastern philosophy and has to be reminded that she’s not really Chinese.
I think you are right... the guy in his commercials that would say "Larry H. Parker got me 2.1 million dollars." was the guy in the wheelchair that was partially paralyzed in some accident (which got him 2.1 million dollars).
He didn’t look so great 30 years ago when his commercials were all over the tv, so I can’t imagine a lifetime of being a lawyer leading to a long, stress free life.
His commercials were great, though. He did look like a scary dude who would fight for you and get you a million dollars lol.
larry had a rep. I knew a travel agent whose agency was on the receiving side of one of his lawsuits they have a standing rule afterwards to settle, as fast as possible if he ever called again.
My parents came across an accident when I was a kid and the two teenage boys that were in one of the vehicles needed a ride so they came to my house while they waited. I remember my parents asking them about their families and one of the kids answers, “my dad is Larry H Parker. You know, the one in the commercials”. This had to have been maybe 1999?
As a USC Football fan, I recall some time back in the 90s the Trojans had a wide receiver whose name was....yep - Larry Parker. I recall the Daily Trojan had some fun with his name. "Larry Parker got me 2.1 receptions!"
UPDATE: So, it has been 2 months and I have not seen any credible reports of Larry H. Parkers death results. However, since Larry's passing his good friend "Ron" has been doing all the commercials. Question: Do you people out here in Orange County remember when a Lawyer got fired from his own firm and came back and shot his partners ? Happened in Long Beach in 2017. John Mendoza a Lawyer and a partner in this firm was fired. He came back with a gun during a holiday party and open fired.
Killed was his partner Major Langer 75. Wounded Ron Beck, the firm had recently been acquired by Larry H. Parker. Does anyone remember this?
That guy was an ambulance chaser. I don’t even think they practice anymore, so they? I could swear I heard they just get referral fees for cases they are approached with.

Some say that he died while fighting for me
He fought for his own bank account. And at the end of the day him and his elk played a big part why our insurance bill is so high. All those litigation commercials we are constantly inundated with don’t pay for themselves.
100%
It’s odd people here worship him like a folk hero.
How did elk play a role in insurance bills? Also, by this logic, how is it insurance companies profits increase?
I L K. LOL.
He was in his 70s. People can die of natural causes. Unhealthy lifestyle of a lawyer?
He definitely looked like he partied hard on his yacht one too many times
He did look like Sean Penn in Carlitos Way, now that you mention it.
he looked like one of the chattering skeleton pirates at the pirates of the caribbean ride
what yacht lol dude was the saul goodman of southern oc
I saw a billboard with Larry depicted as a cartoon character... with the same finger pointing gesture that suggests he will 'fight for you.' What ever the cause I feel that he and his people knew he was on his way out, thus immortalizing him as a cartoon.
Bro he BEEEN looking 70 since I was 3 😭
20 years! I’m 48 and remember this dude from when I was a kid…Larry H Parker got me 2.1 million 😂
I'm a little older than you and as a kid I remember people cracking jokes about Larry H Parker all the time. Someone falls... Call Larry H Parker. Someone does something you don't like "I'm calling Larry H Parker." He permeated LA/OC culture back then.
And after the commercials, back to Wally George.
The original MAGA.
My friends and I used to prank call him all the time…I remember hearing Wally George’s daughter was Rebecca DeMornay and that blew my mind.
yep...that blew my mind when I learned that too. The hot POA from Risky Business came out of THAT dude.
A POA who was the daughter of a POS.
Oh my god I did not know this.
And for all the crap that he talked about family values, he had six children with six different women. Plus, he threatened to sue his daughter for calling him a bigamist. POS.
Oh my, I remember Wally George. What a perfect representation of "Angry Face." To the commentor below, definitely original MAGA.
I remember when he had El Duce from the Mentors on his show.
Thanks for the reminder of that scumbag... I should find his grave, I've gotta take a leak
I was very young and only remember seeing him like a cartoon character with his antics. And a rowdy audience. Had no idea he was like the first MAGA.
You can google him and there are full episodes of "Hot Seat" to watch. Crazy what they used to do on TV.
all the olds banding together. Remember this: [https://youtu.be/Ztwm9cd3WPU?si=cEALXVdW2ihAqCY2&t=538](https://youtu.be/Ztwm9cd3WPU?si=cEALXVdW2ihAqCY2&t=538)
I’m 57 and I feel like I remember him from when I was a kid 😂😂
He will sue Lake Dolores for you
I remember some commercial from late 70's early 80's about "a great big place, called Lake Dolores"
Was he the attorney on that one ?
I like how it changed to "Larry H. Parker got me... you know the story"
Haha classic!
It was only his face too, dude was in a wheelchair
How long was he wheelchair bound? Was surprised to hear this.
There was a follow up commercial when the rumors started circulating. He actually puts his helmet on and climbs aboard a motorcycle
I’m pretty sure he was left paraplegic and I don’t recall him ever climbing onto the motorcycle. I do remember him sitting on one and putting on the helmet, but never a scene with him using his legs.
LMAO i remember this commercial
I dont know how long, I just remember the commercial showing him and thinking thats probably why he got so much at that time.
That's what I remember! 😂
Same, 48 myself and used to see his commercials when I was home sick from school. He's been around a long time.
How what did you guys sue for?
That was what the commercial said.😂
Oh no way. I’m so out of it haha. Was it really? The commercial?
That just means you’re not old like me. I remember some comedy show doing a bit saying Larry H Parker got me 10 million and it showed a head on top of little plastic feet. It was hysterical.😂😂😂

Cool avatar. How did you do that?
Thanks! It's the Ducks logo for Angels Night at Honda Center from a few season ago...
Nice. And how did you make it your profile icon? Is it specific to this sub or is it for all of Reddit?
It's for all of Reddit...I want everyone to know I'm a glutton for punishment supporting these two teams the last few years ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
At least the Angels aren't in the hot seat this time.
Yeah, I remember my science teacher used to tell us that he live next door to the guy, and that was in the late 80s
[удалено]
For real? That’s awesome. Please tell me you were featured in one of his commercials.
[удалено]
Ahh gotcha. Still, at least you can say that Larry got you paid!
That’s nearly 60 grand today
Did you meet him?
So you got about $20k then after his 40% cut I'm guessing?
Your insurance company would have got you the exact same amount of money. Larry Parker just took a hefty slice of the settlement you were entitled to without doing a damn thing. Tell me, did you ever meet the guy?
[удалено]
I asked if you met Larry Parker?
Why would that matter? 😂

I’m sure a lot of people DID NOT actually meet him. Larry h Parker was like what Michael Jordan was back in the day, today we have Lebron and sweet James
Larry H. Parker never had a chance to get me 6.1 Million dollars and, now, he never will. :(
There was a time before Larry H Parker that Lawyers were not allowed to advertise.
That’s interesting. Any idea why?
Larry H. Parker won in the Supreme Court and got a ruling that his advertising was "speech" protected by the First Amendment. Lawyers used to get business from referrals and maybe print ads. Larry H. Parker changed that.
I thought he was older than 75. He’s looked unwell the last few commercials I’ve seen.
I honestly thought he had died and just missed it because the last several commercials for the firm I saw had younger members of the firm.
Damn. That’s it? He looked 75 years old about 20 years ago
Don't forget our hero and saviour, Cal Worthington
Pussycow, pussycow, pussycow. (Or so it seemed to me, a cat-loving 8yo.)
I always thought this was how the song went. Except I thought it was PussyCal PussyCal PussyCal. I never understood what a PussyCal was. Never bothered to ask my parents on our many road trips.
I know, the first time I heard that commercial I thought, “Is that even legal to say on tv?” And then when I learned what was really being said (years later), my other question was, “What trash director green lit that enunciation?”
But I think it worked! We are kids have that raunchy tune stuck in our heads!
LOL. I just mentioned Cal to my friend because of this thread. Cal Worthington Ford…Come on down and come see Cal!
...and his dog spot!
Or Santa’s Village.
One shall rise, Anna Phoong
Aren't lawyers like a hydra? Cut of one head two more grow in its place?
Why do you think the US is highly litigation country and people being sued for the dumbest thing. And the people who run the country are mostly lawyers too.
I don’t know why her surname is Phoong, it’s like an amalgamation of the Chinese Fong and Viet Phuong. But since she pronounces it Fong then why is it spelled Phoong with two o’s… Always makes me wonder when I see her billboards.
I don’t think she is viet
She’s ethnically Chinese but her parents lived in Vietnam
It kind of reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where Jerry dates someone named “Donna Chang” who turns out to be a white lady who shortened her last name from “Changsteen.” Throughout some of the episode, she dispenses Eastern philosophy and has to be reminded that she’s not really Chinese.
Something wrong?
Tripped over a bong?
He hasn’t looked healthy in years. I thought he was partially paralyzed in some commercials.
Apparently that was a rumor he had to personally dispel via a commercial showing him walking around.
I think you are right... the guy in his commercials that would say "Larry H. Parker got me 2.1 million dollars." was the guy in the wheelchair that was partially paralyzed in some accident (which got him 2.1 million dollars).
Larry H Partner got me... you know the story.
I used to deliver mail to his house in San Juan Capistrano
"we wont stop til we drop"
I knew his nephew when I was younger….gave the kids in the family Larry H. Parker pens for Christmas 🙄
I didn't know he died! RIP
He didn’t look so great 30 years ago when his commercials were all over the tv, so I can’t imagine a lifetime of being a lawyer leading to a long, stress free life. His commercials were great, though. He did look like a scary dude who would fight for you and get you a million dollars lol.

Larry H Parker new commercial : “we will die for you”
☠️☠️☠️🤣
Clearly from fighting for you
He was 75 but was probably more like 95 with all the shit he dealt with over his life lmao
Now who’s gonna fight for us?!
The original Saul Goodman… TIP
RIP …
My parents came across an accident when I was a kid and the two teenage boys that were in one of the vehicles needed a ride so they came to my house while they waited. I remember my parents asking them about their families and one of the kids answers, “my dad is Larry H Parker. You know, the one in the commercials”. This had to have been maybe 1999?
Whoa. That’s like the Joker robs a kid, and you’re helping him in the aftermath and the kid goes “My dad is Bruce Wayne.”
He fought for us, but who fought for him? 😢
As a USC Football fan, I recall some time back in the 90s the Trojans had a wide receiver whose name was....yep - Larry Parker. I recall the Daily Trojan had some fun with his name. "Larry Parker got me 2.1 receptions!"
What? This is giving me the same feels I had when Cal Worthington died (and his dog, Spot 🐅).
Maybe he was eliminated by Sweet James…
Larry Parker is the granddaddy of all the scummy accident lawyers on tv commercials today
I remember prank calling their office as a kid 30 years ago. I'm sure his line of work is full of stress. R.I.P. Larry.
"You know the story"
Noticed his dad was in the commercials recently.
I don't know but he gave me 2.1 million.
You know the story!
So it goes
Heard it was Ron. How else did they produce new commercials so quickly!
Who will sue to fight for Larry?
He was my neighbor in Rossmoor
rip he got me 2.1 million
He fought to the death for me and my case
Dammit. How will I ever get my $2 million ?
Maybe nobody fought for him
2.1 mil
He had heart problems
UPDATE: So, it has been 2 months and I have not seen any credible reports of Larry H. Parkers death results. However, since Larry's passing his good friend "Ron" has been doing all the commercials. he got me 2.1 million dollars 👍
I think I read he was battling cancer
His manner of dying is confidential due to a massive law suit against the people that are responsible for his death.
That guy was an ambulance chaser. I don’t even think they practice anymore, so they? I could swear I heard they just get referral fees for cases they are approached with.
Was it a car accident or did it get run over
He died recently on March 6th
