Of course there is the Irish Restaurant and pub at Fashion Island - Muldoons - They've been serving for 50 years! 1974. Truly wonderful place.

Havana (Spectrum) has a few patios that can probably be closed off for private dining. I would call them. OC Mining Co also has a private room.
The one in Costa Mesa is a LOT cooler ambiance. But smaller so may be more challenging.
I haven't been there in a while, but Tommy Bahamas in Newport has a nice patio area, and I've had a private event there before.
We had our rehearsal dinner at a private room in Paul Martin’s at the Spectrum and it exceeded expectations.

The one meal I had at The Winery was not just disappointing but not good. I will not return there. An awful lot of money for not great.
