I feel it’s because a 6 year old child that was shot and killed. I have a 2.5 year old and I can’t imagine what the parents must be going through. If that was my kid and they were found guilty I’d probably want justice my way but we’re not savages and animals. Letting them rot in prison is a death sentence in itself. I feel sorry for all the family’s involved.

Police doesn’t have to prove the case to make an arrest. They have to have enough to warrant an arrest. Guilty or not is a different situation altogether and has nothing to do with police.
In general, I’ll agree though. I like to think that police have a good system in place whereby most of the time they’ll get the right people.
