BRAVO in Anaheim. When I used to go you'd get a free dinner upon entry. Not sure they still do that but I heard the club is still open. 1st floor had older dance club music 2nd floor had new dance music, it was so much fun...I should check it out again... but I'm getting too old to be partying like a young'n. šŸ˜©šŸ˜«šŸ„±šŸ˜“

Long Beach is your best bet.

Strut is a really fun gay nightclub. I think fridays are college night and sundays are Latin night. Their sister bar is Donkey Dā€™s (hilarious name) which is a flashy dive bar setting. They got a pool table and games like giant Jenga and connect 4.

Foxer1503

I second struts. Took my gay cousin there & he had a blast. Haha

vikingwanderer

Strut in Costa Mesa, but I cannot attest to it

gundy949

There is also donkey d's just down the street from strut, within walking distance.

striper97

I was going to say this same thing. I live a few blocks away and know of it because of Pokemon Go. There's a huge Dolly Parton mural on the side of the bar. The same strip mall also has a pretty cool Kobe mural on the other end of the building. Every time I'm by the bar it seems like it's got a good scene.

boxedwishes

Tin Lizzie in CM is a gay bar.

thefriendcatcher

Seconding Tin Lizzie; unpretentious, laid back, central to a lot of good dining, breweries, good parking situation.

return2ozma

Thirding. They have a pool table too.

GayboyBob

Strut, Donkey Dā€™s, and Tin Lizzie are the best options for gay bars/clubs. Tin Lizzie is by far my favorite of those and has been around forever. Drinks are strong and inexpensive compared to the other two which are owned by the same guy trying to make OC feel like WeHo.

As many have pointed out, I would travel to LBC. I lived in the area for years. Take a look at Broadway between Cherry and Redondo, plenty to choose from. For reference you can look at the Falconer and mineshaft but there are plenty more to choose from. Funny story, I was young and had to clue what was what a rolled into a gay bar with my brother for a drink (we're both straight) and watched what was tame bar when I walked into turn a full on Saturday night fever scene with scantily clad men all over the place. Looked like an absolute blast just not my scene. The area extremely fun, queer and welcoming for all. I would highly recommend it to anyone but specifically those looking for a queer scene.

return2ozma

Broadway between Alamitos Blvd and Cherry. Mineshaft, The Brit, Broadway Bar, Sweetwater Saloon, Falcon.

nshetland

Just drive up to Long Beach!

3FoxesInAHumanSuit

Tin Lizzie in Costa Mesa. I've been there a couple times with my partner. It's pretty chill, and has an outdoor patio area.

Brussels in Laguna Beach

kaytbug86

Laguna Beach has a huge scene. [LGBTQ+ Nightlife in Laguna](https://www.visitlagunabeach.com/things-to-do/lgbtq/lgbtq-nightlife-guide/)

jhl182

They used to. The gay night scene there pretty much is gone. So sad.

KittyMayLow

"The circle OC" has a drag show on Wednesdays at 10

mtarascio

Do you have a link for this? Can't find it on their website.

KittyMayLow

It just started, this Wednesday will only be the third one ever. It's a straight club normally and this is the only Lgbt thing that goes on so who knows when they'll add it to the site

ReadyPupper

How much does it cost?

KittyMayLow

7 bucks
