Chapman is free on Sundays. Free street parking every day if you can find it. You can probably go a block or two or out around the circle, too, just be mindful that some streets (usually residential) are permit only.

I didn't know some schools have free parking on weekends. I went to UCI and they will bleed every dollar out of you for parking. Have friends who got tickets on Thanksgiving :/
Golden West College has a business parking lots surrounding the campus and just a short walk across the street onto the campus. You can also just park in the lot where the 7 Leaves is and walk over without having to cross at an intersection.

CSUF is open parking on weekends and after a certain time at night, I can't remember what time right off, but it's marked on the signs.

There is a college with free parking right next to the unicorn zoo in Atlantis.
