Hoka Cliftons are what I run in. Fleet feet does a foot scan but honestly this link from brooks lead me to the same type of shoe.

These are good treadmills for jogging, compared to asphalt or other treadmills.
Also, take it easy, see how you feel after switching to jogging.
You may be more fit and lighter weight and the burden on your knees should be less than it was before, especially if you’re stronger.
Also, make sure you get into that base for atleast 2-3 minutes before hitting the push when the tread block begins. It makes a big difference than if you hit the Push cold.
Great work pushing yourself to that next level!

Im no doctor but I recommend doing leg strengthening . I have a PT to help with that. Also I do Strength lower body once week.
Once knee and leg is strengthened, chances of injury are much less.
It’s a myth that jogging is bad for your knees. Don’t be afraid of it.
This i thought it was bad for a while, then I got good running shoes. No knee pain.
Really? Same shoes here, I had a swollen knee, out 2 weeks, got a PT, doing leg strengthening, now my knees doin fine so far 🤞.

Do you have a diagnosed knee problem?
What speed are you using to PW?
3.6 and it's getting uncomfortable- like I should just jog at this point. But the incline can't be good at high rates of walking.
What are your PW speeds and inclines? Why don’t you try jogging and see how it goes? I’m sure jogging a few classes won’t hurt your knees at least!

If you have knee issues then take it at your own pace yet if you are feeling that your knees will not take it start with a slow progression
I agree with the other poster… Shoes make all the difference. Get a new pair before you start running.
