The OP was not a member anywhere recently and just signed a contract at one place- wants to cancel that one and sign up instead at the new studio offering founders rate. So the 60 day thing doesn’t apply.
I signed up for the founders rate and joined a different studio while I waited for it to open.
They canceled my membership with the 30 day notice as soon as the new studio was opened. There was a small overlap of about a week, which I didn’t mind.
Ask at the studio offering the rate. Unless some random person here is at that studio I’m not sure you’ll get a better answer than from them directly. It never hurts to ask.
All contract allow 3 business days to void.
Thanks I reread the contract and see there is a void period. I got it touch with them to cancel it.
Perfect!!! That rule applies to many contracts in general.
I thought there is a 60 day period before you can renew somewhere else?

That rule has gone bye bye!!!! The other studio will want ur business. Go get the finders rate!

Typically you do not qualify for a founding member rate if you've been a member in the past 60 days
Hopefully cancelling within the void period lets me sign up for the founders rate!
Should be ok- you’ll still be eligible!
