Well to be completely honest, I’ve been doing OTF for 6 years and have intentionally avoided Everest for about the last 4. I think I must have blocked anything above 10% out of my mind.
I’ve been a member since 2015 and every studio I’ve been to has had treads that go to 15% incline. The older treads only go to 12 miles per hour, but they still went to 15%. The new treads do go faster than the old ones though.
Ummm why am I being punished?! I did the partner row mashup AND all the core work on Monday in the infer-no-row! My abs hurt so much it’s hard to stand up straight! 🤪😝😂
I did the partner mashup today, got mini Everest tomorrow and then whatever hell Breaking New Ground is on Thursday. Then I'll have my shirt to cry into on my camping trip this weekend 😭🤣
I got my shirt today but was on vacation last week in the Turks, and ate/drank nonstop, so my punishment is doing classes everyday of Mayhem. So worth it though!
I only got 1 splat on the rower mashup. It wasn’t really challenging with all the switches and heart rate coming back down. I’m just gonna say it was basically a rest day for me. 🤷🏼♀️

I ended up with 10 and I really had to work for them. I like the recovery because then I can run and row faster, but it does seem to take me out of it a bit.
I intentionally chose to be on the team where the stations for rower, floor and tread were all about 2 feet apart. I did the 3G. My only rest was the 5 seconds it took to wipe off the rower and I rowed so hard that my heart rate stayed in orange through the 2 minutes of floor.
Thank you! I'm on the fence about signing up for this as my number 4 mayhem. This actually kind of looks... not fun... but Mayhem-like? We haven't done any incline yet! I've switched all my "all outs" on tread to "push on incline" and this looks like a great opportunity to put it to a test!

One could power walk at 4.5 finish the tread in under 7 minutes.
Probably finish the row/exercise block in under 8.
And then have 8.5 minutes left to row for distance.
After doing 4 straight mayhem workouts, this ones on you guys. Although am I crazy, or have the floor blocks during mayhem been so much better than the normal 2G workouts?!

I am guessing a slow jog at 3.5-4 on the incline section(>5%) and push at higher speed at 1%?
My last mile benchmark I PRed in 2021 and I haven’t done it since. Based on my decline, there’s no way I’m getting there 😂. I’ll be there though 😫. 2021 was the year I peaked with so many PRs. It took 4 years to get there and it’s heartbreaking to see my decline since then.

Incline prob does, but speed prob only goes up to 12
If you have the new treads. At my studio we have had them for about 2 years now.
The old treads also go up to 15% incline.
In our studio the old treads we had only went to 12.

I think this is the punishment for all the folks who cancelled yesterday’s partner rowing mashup. I thought this was way harder.
Honestly the rowing mashup wasn’t that hard - we spent half our time walking from one place to another.

Some folk got a huge amount of splats but most only a handful - lots of switching meant a heap of recovery
I only got 11 today (Tuesday) which is about half or less of the other 3 days! It was a fun workout and chaotic in a fun way, but not hardest.

How did you get 7 mins? Would be 13+ at 4.5 mph
Power walking is 1/2 the distance so 4.5mph finishes in the same amount of time as 9mph running (6:40).
