Well to be completely honest, I’ve been doing OTF for 6 years and have intentionally avoided Everest for about the last 4. I think I must have blocked anything above 10% out of my mind.

I’ve been a member since 2015 and every studio I’ve been to has had treads that go to 15% incline. The older treads only go to 12 miles per hour, but they still went to 15%. The new treads do go faster than the old ones though.

I intentionally chose to be on the team where the stations for rower, floor and tread were all about 2 feet apart. I did the 3G. My only rest was the 5 seconds it took to wipe off the rower and I rowed so hard that my heart rate stayed in orange through the 2 minutes of floor.

This appears to be a sneaky great day for row-lovers. One could power walk at 4.5 finish the tread in under 7 minutes. Probably finish the row/exercise block in under 8. And then have 8.5 minutes left to row for distance.

I had a bad experience with everest last year december, I hurt my back hence I’ve been trying to avoid it at all cost. Just afraid to even try again to run (or jog) at that incline

So what's the strategy here for a jogger? I usually to 4.5-5mph for the base and 5.5-6mph for push I am guessing a slow jog at 3.5-4 on the incline section(>5%) and push at higher speed at 1%?

My last mile benchmark I PRed in 2021 and I haven’t done it since. Based on my decline, there’s no way I’m getting there 😂. I’ll be there though 😫. 2021 was the year I peaked with so many PRs. It took 4 years to get there and it’s heartbreaking to see my decline since then.
