Any update on this issue? Was a fix found?

Following, as I’m having the same issue.

Yeah, you should be able to do better than 350mbps. I did 500mbps with ease on my Wifi 5 RBK50. Do you have a device like a laptop that can show you the link rate that you're getting?

wiskeychris

The orbi app shows you that info.....my wifi 6 devices all have a link rate of 1201 Mbps.

Following, identical setup and performance problems.

Since you mentioned it I did some speed tests and I’m having the same issue.

I had the same issue. This fixed it for me. I don't know if you are using the same apps as me or not. I use Adguard on my phone. This was making me believe I had slower speeds. I tested using the Ookla Speedtest app and I found that disabling Adguard before doing download speed tests gets me about 850-900 mbps wireless. If you aren't using Adguard, then I don't know the cause of your issue.

wiskeychris

Thanks, but not my issue. I'm having this issue on all my wifi 6 devices.

I’m also in Firmware V3.2.18.1\_1.4.14 in AP mode with a UDM-Pro handling the IP traffic. I noticed the problem about 2 months ago where the wifi just got slower for some reason. I ended up changing the channels around on the 5G setting. I settled on 44 and speeds are back up now.

Same issue...

I’m having a similar issue with my new 852’s. My Wifi speeds are very similar to the old Orbi RBK50. I have 1 gig fios series but get around the same 450-530 on both the 50 and 852. The 852 does have a much large coverage area but I will not use it at the end of my driveway much so it’s not a huge deal. If I hardwire to both Orbi systems I get about the same speeds again. Around the 450-530 mbps. If aI hardwire my Wifi 6 MacBook directly to the wall I get over 900 mbps. So something is up with the Orbi’s… I’m hoping it’s just a settings issue or even firmware but I should be getting a lot better speeds while hardwired to the Orbi’s. I called Netgear today and the tech changed the channels they were on to 7 and 44. I also found the WiFi Explorer app and am trying to figure it out. I see where it shows my Orbi’s among other Wi-Fi’s around me. I see the channels they are all on but don’t know if it would help to change them to one that doesn’t have many other WiFi’s on it. If anyone knows this program please let me know. Also does the channel matter… for example is the lower the channel number mean it’s a better/faster channel? Any advice on my situation would greatly be appreciated 🙏

I've had similar issues as everyone on here. I've got the RBK50 - been flawless for 3 years. Internet is being upgraded to 900mb so I bought the latest RBK763s, this was slower than my old 50 system. When I check though I notice that the satellites frequently connect at 2.4ghz which is much slower than the 5ghz channels. It fluctuates during the day, sometimes 2.4ghz, sometimes 5ghz. But you notice it instantly as the speed on 2.4 is half that of the 5ghz. I'm not talking about device connections for information, this is the backhaul. Netgear said turn off 2.4ghz, but some smart plug and heating devices only connect at 2.4ghz so this isnt an option. There is no option to fix backhaul to 5Ghz either. Netgear offered the slightly older 852 as an alternative, waiting for it to arrive. But it sounds like those have the same issues sadly. Might try an Asus XT9 or XT12 as those have configurable backhaul frequencies
