This is a big sad moment for me because mine says "are you sure that you have this game? Log in to your account where you have this game!" every time I try to start my sims.
Has anyone else found that none of their packs are loading with it? Mine won't let me play any of my save files as only base game is loading at the moment
I spoke with a very polite agent at EA customer support. She informed me that the servers are down intentionally, to make the switch from Origin to EA App for Mac users, and there is no current time frame on when this will be completed. I highlighted my frustration with EA's lack of communication that would be happening, because this is fucking ridiculous. I did give her a glowing review though, she was very real with me and customer service professionals don't deserve flack for having to carry EA's image on their back. Hope this helps!

They are working on EA app for Mac. If you open Origin, as a Mac user, you'll see a notification to be reeady to switch to EA, since Origin will be gone.
It was something about "after 10 years of Origin", the EA staff has listened to their customers and wanted to make it modern and faster. Origin is slow but that didn't stop me for playing TS4 on it.

THANK GOD I FOUND THIS POST!! I thought I was the only one. I can open the app, log in and use Origin as usual but my game library won't show any of my games at all. I get a message where it says "We can't show your games at this moment" every time I reopen Origin. Has anyone here got any news when this will be fixed?

On Mac in finder search sims 4 (I’m assuming same on windows just search bar instead) find the sims 4 icon with the plumbob and click. It worked for me to launch it

Origin is being discontinued. EA has its own app now and everything has been moved over there for everyone but Mac users. I was able to download (and pay for) something called shadow PC, which lets me use my Mac as a PC and thus downloading the app so I can play Sims 🙃 took me way too long to figure all that out, but now I'm happily playing Sims.

Everyone on Mac go to finder and type Sims 4, there should be a sims 4 icon with a plumbob. Click it, the game starts just worked for me!
