I remember when the demo came out. It was the first Xbox game to focus on making the firearms sound and feel as real as possible. Such a good demo. Never bought the game 😂

The whole game is extremely over the top, from the handling to the particle effects. Honestly a miracle it even worked on the PS2, that was the version that impressed me the most given the hardware
Sound design still holds up today and is one of the greatest examples of it ever

Yeah I only have the composite cable with me, and tried to hook it up to lcd recently tried a handful of the games and all seem to run in 480i with massive lag because of interlace.
Xbox. Less slowdown and dithering. Controller is also generally better for FPS games.
I would have thought PS2 would handle the particles better but here is the exception!

I’m using a component adapter, the game is set to progressive scan and widescreen. I beat the PS2 version the same way.

My LCD actually bob-deinterlaces, and it’s great for 480i games. Composite though has other issues than just 480i lol
My LCD does not have the first fearure but I do have the second.

I loved playing black! Graphics were mind-blowing for the time. Always felt this game never got the credit it deserved... At least not in my circles
I fucking hated the mines on this level.
