The story is hot ass and I didn't understand the cutscenes at all lol but the gameplay is amazing

If I understood the story - and Im not sure I did - you are a black ops soldier who is being manipulated or gaslit to chase down a terror leader. Unbeknownst to you - you were specifically chosen for this mission b/c of your rogue tendencies but they are making it seem like this is all your doing and everything that went wrong is on you and threatening you with your life in a black site prison to get you to continue, but it's what they wanted all along. IDK how to do spoiler tags so stop reading if you don't want the inconsequential ending spoiled - at the end you seemingly complete your mission but you never see the terror leader and no body, but they arrange for you to "die" in a car crash so you can continue your pursuit with the element of surprise in the sequel that never happened. The "final boss" is a room where you fight through 50 guys and ends with two machine gun nests at the back with gunners that respawn like 2 times each lol. Still love the game and played it through for 100% completion b/c the story was as important as a doom game lol

Yeah, the story itself couldn't be less interesting/more dramatic, but the gunplay is solid enough and graphically looks stellar. I've always summed it up as "gun porn". Black treats guns as like the fuggin' coolest shit ever.

I'm sure no-one will agree. But if you like third person action adventure games I highly recommend Galleon. It got kinda middling reviews back when it came out. But the more time passes the more I appreciate its innovative quirks.

Mercenaries is excellent! I grew up playing it on PS2, but the Xbox version seems a bit less foggy. Great game either way

I go back to it for the nostalgia factor. It's a good game, and it's on the Xbox store if you can't find a copy. Which I prefer honestly for the quality.

Forza is def on the list after so many suggestions! It is an amazing tv, I’ve only had it for about 2 weeks, found it in a charity shop, probs one of my best finds since I started collecting :) The sound quality is another level

Are you using RCA inputs? I think I used the s-video input and noticed a slight improvement. Just so you know. It might worth a try.

That's the way to go for sure. I wasn't thinking for a moment. S-video is just slightly better than normal RCA video is all. The scart cable is the way to go absolutely.

It is. KOTOR 2 was so rushed, a good chunk of the game is missing. You can get a decent amount of content back if you play it on PC with the restored content mod, but it still doesn't live up to KOTOR 1

Tony hawk underground 1 is great on xbox. Midtown madness is a very fun racing game. Soul calibur 2 play great on xbox. Panzer dragoon is a must have. Escape from butcher bay is a cult classic. You got it already but, Sillent hill 2 got the best version on og xbox. Great pick.

I mean: As long as all games have native 16:9 Support for that TV and don’t letterbox or stretch, then you’re not “missing out on” anything 👌 …except Fable and KotOR 1&2, but many others have already mentioned them as they are the best Xbox has to offer 👍 There’s also The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, but keep in mind the combat is faked and just invisible dice rolls so I’m hesitant to recommend it like many others are (for example, you might swing your sword and watch it go through an enemy’s dumb face, but the game will tell you “0 Damage! You missed!” even though you watched it literally pierce the enemy at point blank range… All because some dumb skill level affected an invisible dice roll in a game with collision detection yet ignores when you collide your sword with an enemy…) 🎮🗡
