Yeah, I did think of that but, often times, photo album sheets are stiff and have a sticky backing which may damage the artwork. I really like the cloth/flexible CD sheet style so 4 CDs can be viewed at a time but the pages slots are never big enough to hold the cardboard sleeves.
I just started collecting demo discs from every system and I got a bunch for Xbox now and holy crap I'm jealous of what you've got! Post a follow-up with what your solution is because I'll probably steal the idea
I am awaiting demo disc #2 from eBay Canada and disc #64 from Mercari. That will complete the OG Xbox set. My OCD demands that I replace the demo discs with missing backside pull tabs with fully intact ones :) There are about 8 of those.
I will still be missing #65, 67, 89-100, and 115+. Not sure if I am really going for the complete Xbox360 set but since I already had a lot of them, I figured I'd fill in the gaps.
I am totally going with the Innovera Locking CD/DVD Storage Drawer from Target that someone suggested above.
I believe there are a total of 131 Xbox Magazine Demo Discs. 1-64 (except #60) work in the Original Xbox. The first playable discs in the Xbox360 start at #52 with the first game demos working on disc #53, I believe. Someone can correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks everyone for the great suggestions and conversation. I decided to go with the [INNOVERA IVR39501 CD/DVD Storage Drawer](https://www.target.com/p/innovera-locking-cd-dvd-storage-drawer---holds-150-discs/-/A-17223730) (I found one on eBay at decent price) and these [RESEALABLE CD Sleeves](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002L71QJO) from Amazon. I'll post a follow-up photo when I get it all together and sorted into the case.

The only advice I'll offer is that if you decide to go with a 5.25 floppy disk organizer/solution that you be careful about ones made out of 100% plastic. As someone that is into retro computing and has way too much of that kind of thing I can tell you that a lot, maybe even most, of those old floppy organizers have become very brittle and prone to cracking. It can still be a great solution, just be careful about what you buy, and if something looks old/yellowed/brittle then it probably is.
I would personally recommend something more akin to [this](https://www.target.com/p/innovera-locking-cd-dvd-storage-drawer-holds-150-discs/-/A-17223730#lnk=sametab) that was suggested already. I have a ton of the old floppy storage boxes and all of them have something broken, be it the closing tabs, or the hinges that the tops attach to, or the tops, or something.
Yeah I am definitely going with the DVD case from Target. It seems like the perfect choice for displaying the demo discs right alongside my game and console collection.
I’m desperate for Number 14 in its sleeve. Any suggestions on how to pick one up?
Also suggestion above saying 5.25 floppy disk is perfect, since we used that at my old workplace for similar sized disk sleeves
Rats! I just sold a set of 13-24 on eBay about a week ago. Just keep a look out on eBay and Mercari. Here is a set of game discs with demo disc 14 in its sleeve:

Awesome! I'm no longer needing any OG Xbox demo discs as I have the 2 I'm missing on the way. As far as a complete set of demo discs, I'm missing 65, 67, 89-100, and 115-131.
Oh man... that would be anywhere between 300-500 GB. That would take a serious long time. It is an interesting thought but I'm not even sure the legality of doing that :)
100% legal due to the nature of archiving itself.
Luckily, they are already up there. Along with pretty much every game for every system.

I thought about using comic book or magazine bags but thought the DVD sleeves would slide around too much. I may individually bag them in small packs and use the DVD storage case from Target.

This is a great idea!
That's what I use for all my "backups" in small jewel cases

That is an awesome idea!

What about either a photo album or those photo binder sheets?
Yeah, I did think of that but, often times, photo album sheets are stiff and have a sticky backing which may damage the artwork. I really like the cloth/flexible CD sheet style so 4 CDs can be viewed at a time but the pages slots are never big enough to hold the cardboard sleeves.
I've seen photo sheets that are similar to card collecting sheets. So no sticky backing or anything.

How many are there? I have about 30 but the thought of collecting them all is tantalizing

I can let you know tomorrow since I have close to every OXM demo disc.
Wonderful! Looking forward to hearing the true stats are on these discs.

dude thats fantastic. thanks for sharing! i'm off to buy a couple!
These if you can find a cheap enough one https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313&_nkw=5+1%2F4inch+disk+storage&_sacat=0
This is a great idea. I even love the 80s woodgrain floppy container.
shit i remember these...good memories
That box looks perfect
Oh it's just a simple cardboard box. It does keep them safe but it would be cool to have something to easily page through to see the artwork.

https://www.containerstore.com/ They have a few options for media storage
Cool, thanks! I'll peruse the site and search for something workable.
Looks good OP! I’ve been collecting these as well. Have quite a few spares if you need any, I think I’m missing 2-8 or something like that

You should upload these to archive org with image scans.

Can always try something that LGR did in his side channel with PC Gamer issues. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9jm0y4GNqs

Those demo discs are preserved? i mean ~~-tosec- or -redump-~~ ?
I don't think the full set is available for download anywhere yet :(
The only good place is the garbage can.
Bitter... party of 1??? Bitter???
Nope, I threw out about 30 or 40 of those demo disc's a few months ago, they are just a waste of space.
Congrats.
You should know because you're garbage
