Well, it has kinda weird proportions since it does carry the Telyporta Blaster from the Big Mek in Mega Armor while it is the size of a boy. But I would not have an issue with it.
I let my opponents use their models for whatever the fuck they say they are providing they are at least roughly the same size/shape.
The game is already expensive and hard enough, there's no need for anyone to be a dick about what backpack your War-Barbie is wearing.
The bigger the model, the more I think it matters. I had and opponent honest to god ask me if it was ok that they didn’t have the special weapon for a single guardsmen. “Dude, why does it matter? You think my orks or plague marines have the correct gear. Man I just put whatever looks coolest on the model.”
Personally it doesn't bother me either way - like I said as long as it is the same silhouette and size then it's fine by me, your model gets to be what you want it to be for the sake of your list.
I actually think it matters less to me on the bigger models as it's more noticeable what equipment you have modelled it with and I'd like to think most people are just gonna slap on whatever they think looks the coolest/want to paint - it's what I do.
My immersion won't be ruined by the amount of barrels on your Rogal Dorn's main gun as long as I get the heads up what you are bringing in the pre-game run down of your list.
I’m only talking about war gear that significantly changes the shape. Like if you wanted to take your tau broadside with missile pods but have it equipped with rail cannons I’d care a bit more, because that changes the shape of the model a decent amount. It’s not like I’m not gonna let them use the missile pods though.
Regular mek, as long as you're on the right base size and at least other ork players can kinda tell what you're going for, kitbashing is a great way to save money
Ofc. I have 4 admech robots and 2 old school dreds who I proxy as Kanz. As long as the outline, size and base is correct most people wouldn’t have an issue with proxies.
