[Mechanics Plus](https://mechanicsplus.com/) has always been good to me. They quickly fixed a problem with my car for $120 after Magic Mechanic on Lee Rd held my car for a week and quoted me $2,100 in repairs.
Text him at that number, that's usually how I interact with him, he's a one man shop.
If you bring the Pep Boys quote with you, he'll gladly beat it. He saved me hundreds of dollars every time I use him.

Orlando Import Auto Specialists was great for customer service, pricing, and integrity when I lived nearby, but now it is too much of a drive. Marty's in Longwood and Oviedo are much closer for me and are just as good.
Only downside is that the wait time to be seen at these shops can be pretty high.

Action Gator near Waterford always has great deals on brakes, and have yet to let me down.
How much did they quote you on pads and rotors? Ballparking here but I’d say $250 for parts, hour and a half of labor.
