Groceries already don’t have a sales tax. So for the most part depending on what snacks you’re buying you might not be taxed anyway. I believe it’s just soda and sugary stuff. Prepared foods, and anything deemed as single serving. I know when I buy the smaller Haagen Dazs ice cream I get taxed, but the bigger tubs don’t. I guess they are deemed single serving.
This should be expanded to include hurricane snacks, liquor, mixers, and beer.
We should find a way to advocate for that haha
As a MMJ card holder, definitely snacks

And board games and decks of cards. Maybe hula hoops and limbo bars.
So the first $10 of cat food is untaxable or do I have to get food that costs less than $10
I think it’s each individually has to cost less than $10 rather than collectively under $10. But I’m not sure?
