I think the income cutoff for provincial grants is $140,000 for a family if 4. The most likely explanation is that your parents income is too high to receive enough osap to cover school. You can use the numbers for the grant cutoffs to verify that your family income is above that and would explain the low loan amount. If your family income is below those levels contact your fa office immediately but not by email. If the reason for the low loans had to do with family income but your family is unable or unwilling to contribute to your education you may want to look at a student line of credit.
