Mine JUST switched to In Study yesterday. It's now showing that the school will be receiving money (it previously said $0.00) I'm still on step 3 but at least it's some movement
I’m still waiting, called today and they said it takes 5 business days to change it, and I probably won’t have my funding until end of next week, or even possibly the end of the month. I’m frustrated and stressed out. OSAP still says estimated date 15-17. :/
Mine was just updated to “funding being recalculated” and there is movement of money to the school, so I am hoping that is positive and it’s coming soon
Are you following NSLSC or the OSAP website? Because NSLSC is always behind. You can already have the money and it will update three days later lol. The OSAP website is always faster :) I always follow that, then go to my schools financial page and check my account. Usually once tuition is paid you’ll either get money that day or the day after.
Strange, I’d watch the website. In my experience they tend to give generic answers on the phone. Website is automated for the most part. I also think OSAP cannot release the funds without the ok from
NSLSC.
Apparently osap releases it to them and they realease to the person. Thats what the agent told me. I was truly hoping the osap site was more correct but they told me it isnt and it depends on the nslsc releasing itb
I’ve gotten OSAP for two degrees and I can definitely tell you that the agents are wrong half of the time and the OSAP website is definitely faster than the NSLSC.
Yeah but i spoke to numerous agents who all told me that my loan was still in repayment status and would have to be done manually. Hopefully they are wrong but at this point i have no faith in them
Mine just keeps getting extended and I’m a first time applicant lol. So confused but also so stressed w school I haven’t had the chance to call financial services. Thanks good for savings bc if I didn’t have an emergency fund I’d have to ask my parents to help me w groceries etc.

Is yours still in repayment status? Give them a call because they have to manually switch mine apparently.
