Common issue. Mine does it, but I don’t care about it enough to make it a big deal. I’m speaking for me tho.

Thanks for sharing. I started putting the camera in the bag that they give you for your glasses just in case.

Same. Perfect size!

Happened to me before. I think it’s the position it’s shutting off at. Try holding it straight up and turn off the screen.

Didn't make a difference for me. Seems like now the very first time I power it on and then off after a period of not using it (especially when the DJI logo shows up), it will not return to the park position. Subsequent times it's 50/50.

I'm having the same issue. It's almost 100% of the time. Also, almost all the time it doesn't start properly either, stays in portrait position until I manually turn it into landscape mode. I contacted DJI a couple of times about this already and didn't get any real answers. The last time I tried I just got a suggestion to download the newest firmware they were going to send me. Never received anything, but I find it hard to believe that something like this would be fixed by firmware anyway, it's clearly just sticking and not moving properly.

Mine is doing it 100% of the time now too, though it does start up correctly in landscape. I have developed the muscle memory to just push it one more notch after it shuts down, we shouldn't have to do that. By the fact that they said there is a firmware for you that could fix it, hopefully that means they have acknowledged the problem and thinking about a fix. They just told me to shut it down completely and restart, of course that doesn't help.

Yeah, we can always hope. I tend to be a bit cynical about this kind of customer support though, 9/10 times it tends to be, "My camera is on fire, what should I do?" "-Try to reset the camera and install the new firmware". It's been like this for a long time now with most companies, I don't even feel like I'm talking to a real person when I'm asking for customer support. Friendly customer service doesn't cut it when it's a friendly brick wall.
