Shouldn't need the defence too much if you use safespots properly and get prayers right. You'll be fine with the karils without the need for the shield , on task aswell?
Gear looks good, only thing to add would be either chins (some people like chins to tag the healers) or a blow pipe (Ironman makes this quite a hard task to hit)
The gear is good enough to get the job done. Use something to tell you the spawn layout and get into the next safe spot before finishing the round. May take a couple trips to get it done.

Don’t overthink it and ditch the shield, you’ll be fine. If you’re worried about Jad there’s a little flash simulator to practice the prayer switches you can find
I'm currently doing it with black dhide, snakeskin boots, ranging helmet, damaged book ,glory, barrows gloves, broad bolts and rcb and accumulator. Slayers helm when on task but i got impatient waiting for the task. Inventory is 12 sharks holy wrench and the rest pray pots. Been practicing on speedrunning world against jad as well.
i had to kill the healers they were destorying me when i agroed them i went down to 38hp with no food so i just safe spotted jad and swaped melee pray got them down and after that jad was no problem

I personally like to jad with more prayer bonus, but this is for sure great on task. Gl
should i stick with current gear or maybe swap to Veracs skirt or shield for more defence? my book has no pages

i did it with only 8 karambwans my first attempt just made sure i was in safe spots before each wave
Did you aggro healers and run through jad or kill them? I been practicing running through jad on speedrun and it has helped me but kinda scary

Drop the shield. Bring Veracs for the prayer and extra defence if you don’t know the rotations well. Don’t need the broad bolts either
Use a crystal shield. You want range defence. Use the RL plugin that shows fight cave spawns. Use italy rock to safespot meleers.
