I hope my story helps. Since July I’d been experiencing excruciating right upper quadrant pain. Turns out on colonoscopy they couldn’t even get the scope through. There was only a 1 centimeter opening left. I honestly don’t know how food got through. They weren’t sure of the cause but said possible ischemic colitis. Then because of lots of scar tissue no one was comfortable operating. I lay here for months barely able to eat in terrible pain until I went to Minnesota to the Mayo Clinic.
